Abstract
Vorrichtung bzw. Verfahren zur Darstellung von computermodellierten Objekten, die aus einer Vielzahl von aneinandergrenzenden Polygonflächen zusammengesetzt sind, wobei der Bildeindruck in den Eckpunkten der Polygonflächen entsprechend einem lokalen Beleuchtungsmodell berechnet wird, wohingegen der Bildeindruck der restlichen Rasterelemente entsprechend dem Gouraud-Schattierungsverfahren interpoliert wird und zur Simulation einer Oberflächenstruktur für jedes Rasterelement zusätzlich ein Farb- bzw. Helligkeitswert berechnet wird, der den Einfluß der Oberflächenstruktur auf den Bildeindruck berücksichtigt, ohne in jedem Rasterelement aufwendig das lokale Beleuchtungsmodell berechnen zu müssen.
