  • Glazing bars for constructing roofs of conservatories generally comprise aluminium support beams, between which are mounted glazing panels and upper and lower cappings to secure and seal the roofing panels and conceal the aluminium beams.
  • EP-A-0 610 102 discloses a glazing bar system with cappings and from FR-A-2 655 676 an end cap is known.
  • Typical glazing beams are of inverted T-section with a channel shaped capping fitted to the cross bar of the T-section and an upper capping which has divergent sides and internally a means for connecting the upper capping to the top of the aluminium beam, usually in a press fit manner.

Claims (6)

  1. Système de barre de vitrage comprenant une poutre (10) de support, des chapeaux (12, 14) supérieur et inférieur placés sur la poutre (10), un support (61) fixé à une extrémité de la poutre (10), et une coiffe (68) d'extrémité pour la poutre (10), la coiffe (68) d'extrémité et le support (61) ayant des conformations (66, 74) susceptibles de se mettre en prise mutuellement, grâce à quoi ils s'adaptent à coulissement.
  2. Système selon la revendication 1,
    dans lequel le support (61) est fixable à l'extrémité de la poutre de support au moyen d'une vis (62) pénétrant à travers le support (61) dans un trou (22) de vis de la poutre de support (10).
  3. Système selon la revendication 1 ou 2,
    dans lequel l'un, du support et de la coiffe d'extrémité, comporte une paire de canaux (74) en regard, et l'autre a une paire de pattes ou analogues (66) orientées à l'opposé, qui s'adaptent à coulissement dans les canaux.
  4. Système selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3,
    dans lequel le support comporte une paire d'extrémités ou pattes (66) opposées, écartées de l'extrémité de la poutre pour recevoir les conformations (74) intérieures coopérantes de la coiffe d'extrémité en accouplement glissant.
  5. Système selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4,
    dans lequel la coiffe d'extrémité porte une paire de saillies (74) opposées, en forme de L, sur sa face intérieure pour constituer lesdites conformations sous forme de canaux en regard.
  6. Système selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5,
    dans lequel la coiffe d'extrémité porte un bord (72) qui est plus profond à son sommet, grâce à quoi la coiffe d'extrémité, lorsqu'elle est fixée, couvre l'extrémité du chapeau (12) supérieur.
