Abstract

Es wird eine Sammeldichtung für einen elektrischen Steckverbinder angegeben, die derart ausgebildet ist, dass beim Einbringen von Kontakten, die im Querschnitt rechteckig ausgebildet sind ein Abtragen von Dichtungsmaterial vermieden wird. Die Dichtung (2) ist im wesentlichen plattenförmig mit zwei Flachseiten (1,8) ausgebildet und mit zumindest einer Durchgangsöffnung (3,4). Die Durchgangsöffnung (3,4) weist zu den Flachseiten (1,8) hin einen trichterförmigen Ein- beziehungsweise Auslass auf. Die Trichteröffnung des Ein- beziehungsweise Auslasses ist auf der Flachseite (1) wie ein Rechteck mit erweiterten Eckbereichen (9) ausgebildet. Der Neigungswinkel der Trichteröffnung auf den Seiten des Rechtecks ist steiler als in den Eckbereichen.

A collective seal for an electrical plug connector is specified which is designed in such a way that removal of sealing material is avoided when introducing contacts which have a rectangular cross section. The seal (2) is essentially plate-shaped with two flat sides (1,8) and with at least one through opening (3,4). The through opening (3, 4) has a funnel-shaped inlet or outlet towards the flat sides (1, 8). The funnel opening of the inlet or outlet is designed on the flat side (1) like a rectangle with expanded corner areas (9). The angle of inclination of the funnel opening on the sides of the rectangle is steeper than in the corner areas.
