Abstract

Die vorgeschlagene Vorrichtung zur Bestimmung der räumlichen Lage wenigstens eines Randes eines laufenden Bandes hat einen mit Spiegelfacetten besetzten Drehspiegel 18, auf den an voneinander beabstandeten Rückwurfstellen R1, R2 auftreffende Peilstrahlen 15, 21 gerichtet sind. Die rückgeworfenen Peilstrahlen bestreichen das Beobachtungsfeld, in dem das Band vor einem Retroreflektor 4 läuft. Solange die Peilstrahlen auf den Retroreflektor fallen, werden sie retroreflektiert und von einem Empfänger 28, 33 erfaßt, dessen Signal endet, wenn der jeweilige Peilstrahl vom Retroreflektor auf den Rand des Bandes übergeht. Damit sind die Impulsrückflanken eindeutig mit der Winkellage jedes Peilstrahls beim Erfassen des Bandrandes verknüpft und die Auswerteschaltung kann aus diesen beiden Peilstrahllagen die räumliche Lage des Bandrandes ermitteln.
