Abstract

Figure 00000001
A bulletproof and puncture-resistant clothing consists of a set of items of clothing (10, 20) which, in terms of size and shape, correspond to conventional items of clothing and are used to be worn over one another, for example a vest (20), jacket (10), pants and coat. Accessories such as wallets (30) are also included. An at least minimal number of puncture-resistant surface elements (1) made of aramid fiber layers are incorporated into each piece of clothing (10, 20, 30) belonging to the set. The distribution of the aramid fiber layers over several items of clothing (10, 20, 30) results in pleasant wearing properties. By putting on more or less pieces of protective clothing (10, 20, 30), the protective effect can be adapted to the respective degree of threat.
