Abstract

The connection device uses a flat contact mat (7) mounted on a switch circuit-board on one side (9) and provided with upstanding pressure domes (1) on the opposite side, having contact surfaces (8) brought into contact with respective contact pads of the switch circuit board upon depression of the pressure dome. The space between the contact surface of each pressure dome and the switch circuit board is coupled to a vent channel formed within the pressure dome, e.g. a central vent channel leading to the top surface of the pressure dome.
