Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektrischen Schalter (1) mit einem gegen eine Rückstellkraft, im wesentlichen linear bewegbaren Betätigungsorgan (7). Das Betätigungsorgan (7) wirkt kraft- und/oder formschlüssig auf einen Schaltring (9) ein. Der Schaltring (9) ist derart ausgebildet, daß der Schaltring (9) aufgrund der Einwirkung des Betätigungsorgans (7) lediglich eine begrenzte Linearbewegung ausführen kann und bei weiterer Einwirkung des Betätigungsorgans (7) eine Drehbewegung ausführt. Im Schalter (1) befindet sich eine aus einem drehbar gelagerten Kontaktelement (10) bestehende Kontaktbrücke, die in einer Schaltstellung Festkontakte (11) elektrisch überbrückt. Am Schaltring (9) und dem Kontaktelement (10) sind Mittel angeordnet sind, die durch die Linearbewegung des Schaltringes (9) miteinander in Wirkverbindung bringbar sind, so daß bei der Drehbewegung des Schaltringes (9) das Kontaktelement (10) in die Schaltstellung drehbar ist. Damit wirkt das Betätigungsorgan (7) über den Schaltring (9) auf die Kontaktbrücke zur Bewegung in die Schaltstellung ein.

Means are arranged on the switching ring (9) and the contact element (10), which can be brought into operative connection with one another by the linear movement of the switching ring (9), so that the contact element (10) can be rotated into the switching position when the switching ring (9) rotates is. The actuating member (7) thus acts via the switching ring (9) on the contact bridge for movement into the switching position.
