nature même des dodécaèdres rhombiques 2.The game shown in fig. 1 includes a
In this stack, the
The
The faces of the
Faces of the same type may be identical or different provided that they have distinctive characters indicating that they belong to the same "family"; these families can be characterized by different ways: color, even and odd numbers, for example, various connected patterns by the same common theme, different for each family, etc. In the drawing, the faces of one type have been shown in white and those of the other type to the shaded state.
plier ensuite en vue de former les parties 2a.In the case where the dodecahedra are made of cardboard, we can print the flat
blank of which they are formed, that is to say the blank being in the developed state, for the
then fold to form the
The game will be accompanied by a single or multiple rule which will command the player (s) to place the elementary polyhedra, to make the polyhedron composed, in such a way that the different aspect faces of said polyhedra elementary appear in an imposed configuration or according to a rule imposed.
rhombiques 2.In the embodiment of figs. 1 to 4, the elementary polyhedra are
formed by regular rhombic dodecahedra. The
présente des alvéoles à ouverture triangulaire 8.It should be noted that the same material can make it possible to follow several
different game rules. In the variant of figs. 5 and 6, polyhedra
elementary consist of regular
By way of example, the assembly of FIG. 5 was carried out in such a way that, on the left face of this figure, all the faces of the dodecahedra elementary 2 inclined are of a type, while all the vertical faces are of the second type.
It should be noted that, in the case where the elementary polyhedra 50 are rhombic dodecahedrons, the aspects of their faces could be non only of two different types, one half of their faces having a appearance of one type and the other half of the other type, as in the examples described and represented, but that their faces could present three types of different aspects, a third presenting an aspect of a first type, a third of a second type and the third third of the third type.
In the case where the elementary polyhedra are rhombic dodecahedra, the aspects of their faces can be of three different types, a third of said faces having an appearance of each type or a quarter of their faces having an appearance of a first type, a quarter of a second type and half of a third type.
Still in the case of rhombic dodecahedra, the aspects of their faces may be of four different types, a quarter of their faces presenting an aspect of each type. They could also have their faces with six different types of appearance, one sixth of their faces having a appearance of each type.
