So ist es bekannt, daß Daten, die zur Steuerung jeweils einer Druckmaschine für jeweils einen Druckauftrag erforderlich sind, von einer zentralen Steuereinrichtung, an die mehrere Druckmaschinen angeschlossen sind, an eine der jeweiligen Druckmaschine zugeordnete Steuereinrichtung übertragen werden. Die einzelnen Datenbearbeitungsstationen sind dabei vorzugsweise als Personel-Computer ausgeführt. Mit einem solchen Netzwerk innerhalb einer Druckerei ist es insbesondere möglich, Daten für künftig auszuführende Druckauftrage zu bearbeiten und somit insbesondere die Auftragsauslastung der Druckerei zu optimieren. Gemäß der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß die Druckereien jeweils Schnittstellen zu einem Datenfernübertragungsnetz aufweisen, über welches freie Kapazitäten hinsichtlich zukünftig ausführbarer Druckaufträge in einem Speicher eines zentralen oder dezentralen aufgebauten Datenkommunikationsnetzes bereitgestellt werden können. Auf der anderen Seite weisen ebenfalls die potentiellen Kunden von Druckereien entsprechend ausgebildete Schnittstellen auf, vermittels denen Informationen über einen zukünftig auszuführenden Druckauftrag in das Datenkommunikationsnetz eingegeben werden. Hier sind insbesondere die Art des Bedruckstoffes, die Anzahl der zu druckenden Exemplare, die Druckqualität sowie die Ziele, an den die Druckexemplare dann verteilt werden sollen zu nennen. Diese beispielhaft zuvorstehend genannten Daten ergeben dann ein Anforderungsprofil für den auszuführenden Druckauftrag nach Art eines Rasters. Aus diesen Daten werden dann mittels der erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten Datenverarbeitungsanlage diejenigen Druckereien herausgesucht, welche für die Bearbeitung eines derartigen Druckauftrages in Frage kommen. Hierbei spielt insbesondere eine wichtige Rolle, daß auch die im Anforderungsprofil wiedergegebene Distribution des Druckproduktes mit berücksichtigt wird. Es wird somit bereits bei der Vergabe des Druckauftrages eine Verteilung des Auftrages vorgesehen, so daß vorzugsweise das Druckprodukt, welches später an mehreren Orten z.B. als Werbedrucksache vorgesehen ist, bereits in Druckereien erstellt wird, welche in größtmöglicher Nähe der Orte liegen, in denen dann die Verteilung zu erfolgen hat. Darunter sind insbesondere Informationen zu verstehen, aus denen entnehmbar ist, welche Formatbereiche, welche Grammaturen, wie viele und welche Farben und sonstige Techniken der Weiterverarbeitung in der jeweiligen Druckerei verarbeitet werden können. Selbstverständlich ist es unter Anwendung der Erfindung ebenfalls möglich, das zu druckende Bild selbst über den Kanal der Datenfernübertragung an die eine oder mehrere gemäß dem Auswahlkriterium herausgefilterten Druckerei zu senden. Die eine oder mehrere Druckereien werden dann aus den empfangenen digitalen Daten entsprechend der technischen Ausstattung der in der Druckerei vorhandenen Vorstufe Druckträger bzw. Druckplatten erstellen. Hierbei kann ebenfalls vorgesehen sein, daß durch eine weitere Software-Anwendung nach Erstellung der Druckvorlage automatisch ermittelt wird, welche Qualitätskriterien für das zu erstellende Produkt wesentlich sind.
