Erfindungsgemäß ruht der zweite Schienenabschnitt wie Weichenzunge fußseitig stets auf einem Rollenelement, also auch in anliegender bzw. verriegelter Position. Hierdurch bedingt erfolgt sowohl eine Verringerung der Gleitkräfte beim Öffnen des zweiten Gleisabschnitts als auch beim Auffahren des Fußes auf die folgenden Rollenelemente. Dies ist insbesondere dann der Fall, wenn die entlang des Verstellwegs angeordneten Rollenelemente von einer gemeinsamen Halterung ausgehen, die ihrerseits über eine elastische Lagerung derart abgestützt ist, daß die Steifigkeit mit zunehmender last¬ aufnehmender Fläche zunimmt. Dabei ist bei an dem ersten Gleisabschnitt anliegendem zweiten Gleisabschnitt die elastische Lagerung derart keilförmig verformt, daß die Höhe schienenseitig geringer als im entferntliegenden Bereich ist.
