Abstract

Batonvrille= beach-umbrella holder designed and invented by INDRIO Domenico takes away the difficulties of putting the present type of umbrella holder into the sand because it enables the holder to be put into sand easily, to the required depth, with a simple rotatory movement and to be firmly held, thus surpassing the existing technology, since it guarantees against wind, injury and pollution. It is made up of a lower sleeve (1) with helicoidal blades, a tubular stick (2) and of an upper sleeve (3) with a cam blocking handle system (4).

Description

RATONVRTT.T.TC = holder for beach-irmhrpna TECHNICAL FIELD
This invention was designed by me INDRIO Domenico in order to eliminate the difficulties which a user of a beach-umbrella encoxinters when they try to drive the present type of umbrella stick into the sand. It consists of a sleeve into which the umbrella stick is put. This sleeve can be driven easily and well into the sand, at the same time eliminating any chance of injury to the user or instability and thus making it a guarantee against injury, wind and pollution.
BACKGROUND ART - DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION Even though this invention of mine is linked to already-existing technology, it is an intellectual - creative act coming from one of my flashes of genius which resolves- a technical problem. It is an invention which can be patented, in accordance with the law, seeing as it satisfies the three necessary prerequisites; the first being ORIGINALITY in that it is extrinsically and absolutely original because it is not part of the state of technology, in other words it is unknown or inaccessible to the public. The second prerequisite INVENTIVENESS or intrinsic originality is satisfied because it is obviously original, and the third INDUSTRIALITY in as much as it is fit to be industrially exploited, because it is aimed at concretely satisfying human requirements through the use of the invention. At present, the umbrella is put into a support which requires a lot of work to drive it into the sand, with the risk of causing injury to the user if, when they are making a hole in the sand, they come across pieces of glass, rusty metal or infected syringes etc. What is more, since the present type of holder is the same diameter as that of the cone-shaped tip, (which moreover often comes off and being lost in the sand, pollutes it because i-t is not biodegradable), it is free and not firmly held in the sand, so that the wind could unhinge it with the risk of causing serious injury to the user or to other people.Even though BATONVRILLE= holder for a beach-umbrella which was designed and invented by me, is easier to put into the sand, without having to dig with your hands, it also keeps it firmly held, thus making it easier for the user to position it to the height required. TECHNICAL EXPLANATION
BATONVRILLE (global view drawing 1/5 - ID-0093) consists of an UPPER ST.TV VK (pos. 1 on drawing 1/5 -ID-0093 and on detailed drawing 2/5 - ID- 0093/1) which from the outside has a cylindrical screw shank shape with a double- start trapezium/helicoidal thread (heart diameter= m/m 40; external thread diameter =m/m 70; pitch = m/m 30; thread section m/m 2.5x5 x thread height m/m 15; shank length = m/m 50) and with a cone-shaped tip (greatest diameter = m/m 40; smallest diameter = m/m 7; height of cone m/m 40; taper alpha= 22°, 40) since the tip is designed in this way, it means that it is easier to screw BATONVRILLE into the sand of a beach.
At the top of the external sleeve described above there is a hemispherical boarder (radius m/m 2.5) which strengthens the cylindrical shank.The internally hollow lower sleeve just described has an internal diameter (of m/m 34 x a length of m/m 50) with two rectangular splines (of m/m 3x6x25) attached to the inner walls 180° opposite each other. This above- mentioned sleeve which can be seen in the detailed drawing 2/5 ID-0093/1 is injection pressed out of the synthetic resin "PERPEX" in one single piece for a total length of m/m 90 (of which m/m 40 is the cone part and m/m 50 the cylindrical part) and it is connected and stuck on the rod with an appropriate glue, (pos.2 drawing 1/5 -ID-0093 and detailed drawing 3/5 ID-0093/2) , this rod is tube shaped, made of iron (external diameter m/m 33.7 x thickness m/m 1.4 x length m/m 1000) and painted white, using the slots of the two sleeve splines in their appropriate places (m/m 7xm/m 25) at the end of the stick guaranteeing: coupling and torsion.
At the other end of this stick the UPPER SLEEVE (pos. 3 drawing 1/5 - ID-0093 and detailed drawing 4/5 - ID-0093/3) is connected and stuck in the same way as the lower one. This cylindrical sleeve has an external diameter of m/m 4Ox a total length of m/m 60 with at one end a hemispherical strengthening boarder (radius m/m 2.5) and at the other end 4 (four) ear like flaps (m/m 23xm/m 20x thickness m/m 6) put tangentially to the external diameter of m/m 40 and along the upper boarder, these make up and form two forks which are at 180° to each other.
Because these forks allow a m/m 9 passage between the flaps and the distance between each other is m/m 66.5, it is possible to rivet the cam handles ( pos. 4 drawing 1/5 ID - 0093 and detailed drawing 5/5 -ID-0093 /4 ) : these are the dimensions, (cam m/m 27x m/m 20 of pos. 4. drawing 1/5 - ID-0093 which m/m 17 from the vertical axis to the left line, rounded with a radius of m/m 10 at 180° on the horizontal axis, and m/m 10 from the vertical- axis to the right line with the same radius at 90° from the upper line to the horizontal axis; where the horizontal and vertical axes meet there is a hole whose diameter is m/m 5.5, where the rivet is put to mount them on the forks and two lateral shoulders concentric to them with a thickness of m/m lx diameter m/m 15; followed by the trapezoidal arm/lever m/m 65 from the horizontal axis with its end bent round, with an external radius of m/m 15 and an internal one of m/m 10, not aligned with each other).These injection pressed handles in one piece made of PERPEX synthetic resin work independently one from the other and have a cam function on the parallelepipedon/trapezoidal like cone-shaped blades (having a lower base of m/m 2.5x m/m 6; a height of m/m 25 and a lower base of m/m 2xm/m 6) which are put between the two inner walls of the flaps and on the edge of the internal walls of the m/m 31 sleeve (detailed drawing 4/5 -ID-0093/3 detail "B'M firmly locking the rod of the umbrella which was put into the BATONVRILLE at a height chosen by the user.This hollow sleeve has a diameter in the upper part of m/m 31 and in the lower part of m/m 34, on this part there are two rectangular splines of m/m 1.5xm/m 6xm/m 25 180° opposite each other.

Claims

- CLAIMS - I the undersigned INDRIO Domenico born in Altamura (BA) on the 17th December 1942 resident in Noci at Via Zona G 16/A claim as my exclusive invention the BATONVRILLLE= beach-umbrella holder in every part and specifically claim:
1) The lower sleeve in its entirety which from the outside has a cylindrical screw shank shape with a double-start trapezium/helicoidal thread and with a cone-shaped tip, since the tip is designed in this way, it means that it is easier to screw BATONVRILLE into the sand of a beach.
At the top of the external sleeve described above there is a hemispherical boarder which strengthens the cylindrical shank. The internally hollow lower sleeve just described has an internal diameter with two rectangular splines attached to the inner walls 180° opposite each other. This above-mentioned sleeve is injection pressed out of the synthetic resin "PERPEX" in one single piece and it is connected and stuck on the rod with an appropriate glue, this rod is tube shaped, made of iron and painted white, using the slots of the two sleeve splines in their appropriate places at the end of the stick guaranteeing: coupling and torsion.
2) The upper sleeve; this cylindrical sleeve has an external diameter with at one end a hemispherical strengthening boarder and at the other end 4 (four) ear like flaps put tangentially to the external diameter and along the upper boarder, these make up and form two forks.
3) The locking system with cam handles. These injection pressed handles in one piece made of PERPEX synthetic resin work independently one from the other and have a cam function on the parallelepipedon/trapezoidal like cone-shaped blades which are put between the two inner walls of the flaps and on the edge of the internal walls of the sleeve firmly locking the rod of the umbrella which was put into the BATONVRILLE at a height chosen by the user. his hollow sleeve has a diameter in the upper part of m/m 31 and in the lower part of m/m 34, on this part there are two rectangular splines of m/m 1.5xm/m 6xm/m 25 180° opposite each other.
