Bei einer Verdampferanordnung (10), insbesondere für verdichterbetriebene Haushalts-Kältegeräte mit wenigstens zwei strömungstechnisch in Reihenschaltung miteinander verbundenen, eine unterschiedliche Kälteleistung aufweisenden, platinenartigen Verdampferabschnitten (11,15,20), deren Kältemittelkanalanordnung durch Steuerorgane gesteuert mit von einem Kältemittelverdichter geförderten Kältemittel beaufschlagbar ist, welches über Einspritzstellen (12,16,24) den Verdampferabschnitten zugeführt und über eine den Verdampferabschnitten gemeinsame Saugleitung (28) abgeführt ist, weist der Verdampferabschnitt (20) höherer Kälteleistung im zuflußseitigen Bereich seiner Kältermittelkanalanordnung (25) eine zur strömungstechnischen Verschaltung der Verdampferabschnitte dienende Verbindungsstelle (26) auf, welche in einem monoton fallend angeordneten Abschnitt der Kältemittelkanalanordnung (25) vorgesehen ist.
