A cassette (130) includes a grip portion (140) for grasping by hand; a body base (150) formed in a single unit on the lower end of the grip portion (140); a platen (180) urged downward from the body base (150); a cut-sheet heat-sensitive sheet (160), which is slightly wider than a stamp face (30) of a stamp assembly (1); and a cover (170) detachably and rotatably attached to the body base (150).
