Abstract

The cover for a toilet seat operates automatically to provide ventilation and a deodorising facility. It includes hygienic elements and vibratory stimulating elements within the structure of the seat. The seat includes an internal channel (9) to which access is provided by an aperture (6). Gas released within the toilet is evacuated via this aperture. The gases are carried by the channel (9) to an internal filter (8) which includes a zig-zag path. The gas then passes to a second filter (4) mounted in the back section of the seat. There are also deflectors guiding the gas to outlets (12, 13). <IMAGE>

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

This specification refers to a cover for sanitary facilities with an autonomous aeration and deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements, the purpose of which is, of course, to enable the user of a sanitary facility proper, use as a seat, in order to perform a physiological function, such as evacuation. The cover consists of several additional elements, such as the replaceable filter, the automatic or manual activation keys, the timer and the brain attention vibrator, etc. which, using a series of conventional mechanisms, prevent the direct exit of gases expelled by the user to the outside when performing their physiological functions in the sanitary. These gases go through a filtering and deodorization step. In addition, the function to be performed is notably supplemented by the existence of auxiliary elements, such as a brain attention vibrator.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention has its place among the industries which manufacture hygienic covers for sanitary facilities.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, we know of the existence of a variety of covers, intended for use as the seat of a user, united to the sanitary, having in their upper part a cover for closing the conventional mouthpiece.

These covers are generally made of a resistant material, such as rigid plastic, or else they have an internal part made of wood or the like which is coated on the outside with a plastic material whose surface adapts to special conditions of use.

The applicant also knows of the existence of sanitary covers which, instead of having in the surface a covering made of plastic or similar material which can be replaced by a layer of paint, incorporate a pad or padding which, without any doubt, adds quality and comfort with the same covers.

The applicant is the holder of the Spanish patent number 860̸3289 / 5, relating to a seat cover for sanitary facilities with an autonomous ventilation device, which has been granted and which is currently in force. After having accomplished the desired mission, we see the possibility of introducing innovations into it.

The invention with which we are concerned undoubtedly has great advantages over the seat covers used for sanitary ware up to now. In addition to having a ventilator-ventilator started by an electric motor whose mission is that of carrying out an aspiration of air from the "sanitary bowl" towards the interior through a marginal pipe, the invention is characterized by the fact that the cover itself has an assembled motor which allows the actuation of a rod or vacuum cleaner, situated at a predetermined place at the part which conforms the basic part, formed by a ring of an appropriate thickness, which is the body intended to make direct contact with the upper sanitary area, which is, at the same time, the part where the user sits.

In the cited invention, we note the existence of a hollow base, base which is used as a channeling element for the air sucked in by the rod, having the latter an opening on the front and internal part which actually constitutes the '' air intake mouth which leaves the internal part of the sanitary, towards the rod or vacuum cleaner and which thanks to the pipe, is correctly mobilized.

The invention also has a housing for the motor itself, as well as a filter which may or may not be equipped with activated carbon, through which the air sucked in by the rod or vacuum cleaner will pass and which, thanks to extensions of the housing, allows to direct towards the external lateral parts the air previously treated with deodorant tablets being easy to replace or replace.

Finally, the cited invention has the novelty of the motor supplied with electric batteries and these are connected by means of the use of a button located at the lower part of the ring, and thus the pressure of the body of the user resting with his buttocks on the same, acts as the pressure which closes the circuit and starts the engine which operates on the rod, stopping it instantly when the user lifts the cover, and therefore the button stops the actual motor which acts directly on the functioning of the rod.

Even if the perfect functioning of the invention has been found, several variants have been considered in order to obtain complementary functions.

All spares can be placed in an easy replacement pack.

The fact of having an operating button under pressure conditions the activation of the own system, incorporated in the cover; it would therefore be interesting to have a manual implementation switch, which allows the start or stop of the same according to the desire of the user by disconnecting at the same time and automatically the implementation of the first button, because there is no pressure on the cover regardless of whether the switch is connected or not.

It would also be interesting to have an electronic timer which is started by the button and which is disconnected after a certain time previously programmed, turning on the functions of the cover at the same time when sitting down and even with a manual pressure.

Optionally, one of the suction pipes can be constituted by a container containing the disinfectant or other liquids which, with manual or automatic pressure, can send outside a determined quantity of the incorporated product towards the internal part of the sanitary, complementing the specific functions for which the cover was created.

Finally, it should also be noted that the cover has a second motor which is also powered by batteries, which activates an eccentric part producing a slight vibration effect which directs the user's attention to the area buttocks, thus facilitating the function of evacuation.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The cover for sanitary ware with an autonomous aeration and deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements which the invention proposes constitutes by itself an obvious novelty because, from now on, the user can have all the new advantages, having conventional use.

In a more correct manner, the cover for sanitary facilities with autonomous aeration and deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements is constructed from a cover of conventional dimensions and having a few suction openings or mouths. , and exits of the air treated by filtration and odorization carried out inside.

The ring or the body on which the user sits is grooved inside and it is provided, as we saw above, with a mouth through which enters the air coming from the internal part of the on which the user performs physiological evacuation. The air, coming from the internal part of the sanitary through a conduit, enters, and it passes through filters placed in a zigzag, and it arrives at a set defined as the housing at the rear part of the body of the cover or grooved ring, which can be replaced as a whole or partially. It passes through a second filter located around the implementation motor and which, drawn in by a rod fed by deflectors, is led to the outlet mouths.

The cover, in the part close to the battery compartment, has some additional housings, reserved for deodorant tablets, which are located in the upper part of the outlet ducts which, through small grids, permeate the outlet air of a pleasant fragrance by deodorizing the room where the bathroom is located.

The assembly or pack described above can optionally have a suction grid which means that the air sucked does not necessarily pass through the fluted duct.

In the fluted duct (9) we can adapt a small motor powered by cells or batteries like the motor described above, to which is fixed a metallic and eccentric cylinder which will transmit a vibration to the whole of the ring on which the user sits down.

A container containing a disinfectant or other liquid, used manually or automatically, can be installed inside the grooved ring, in the whole, or in a part.

We should note that the invention includes a switch which activates the manual assembly and a key, or a similar element fixed at any point of the grooved ring, can activate a timer in order to allow the assembly to perform its functions, even with manual pressure without the user having to sit down.

To complete the descriptions that we are in the process of making and, in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, we attach to this description, as part of it, two sheets of plans, in which we have shown, with an illustrative and not limiting aim, the following figures:

• Figure number 1: It shows a partially sectioned front view of the seat ring, from the perspective of the user, of the cover for sanitary facilities with autonomous aeration and deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements which is the subject of the invention.
• Figure number 2: It shows the arrangement of the filtering and odorizing assembly, capable of constituting itself as an autonomous assembly which can be removed completely from its location at the rear part of the object represented in figure number 1 in order to be replaced totally or partially.
• Figure number 3: It shows a detail of the internal part of the object represented on figure number 2, concretely from the center, where is, at the lower part, the rod, with a filter in its upper part, which proves that the pack can have its own suction mouth (23).

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

By observing these figures, we can notice that the cover for sanitary facilities with autonomous ventilation, deodorization, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements that we offer is made up of a grooved ring where the mouth is (6 ) by which the air proceeding from the internal part of the sanitary penetrates, it passes through the duct or channel (9), it then enters the internal part of the filters (8) where a zigzag channel has been produced. The pre-filtered air arrives at the autonomous assembly which can be replaced partially or completely, where it passes through a second filter (4) located around a motor (3) which acts on a suction rod (11) and which causes the air to pass through this filter and its action is reinforced at the same time by the deflectors (14) and (15). The doubly filtered air is then led to the outside by exhaust or outlet conduits (12) and (13) located laterally.

The autonomous assembly described above can be supplemented by a suction grid (23), which means that the air sucked does not necessarily pass through the fluted duct (9) having a filter (8).

By observing figure number 1, we can see that the batteries (5) are located next to the housings intended for the deodorant tablets (16) and (17). These housings are located at the upper part of the outlet conduits (12) and (13) and that through the grids (21) and (22) they manage to impregnate with a pleasant fragrance the air which leaves the outside, therefore deodorizing the room or the room where the sanitary is installed.

To the fluted duct (9) a small motor (19) can be attached powered by cells or batteries in a similar fashion to the power produced with the motor (3), the axis of which is fixed to the metallic and eccentric cylinder (20̸ ), which will transmit a vibration to the whole of the ring on which the user sits, therefore arriving at the fact that the latter cerebrally pays attention to the area of his buttocks and obviously it contributes to the evacuation of his intestine.

Inside the grooved ring, and in all or in part of the same, we can place a receptacle lodged correctly referenced with (10̸), the interior of which will include a disinfectant liquid or other, likely to be put in works manually or automatically, which means that the product in the container (10̸) leaves inside the sanitary by acting correctly.

The key (18) is responsible for connecting the motor automatically, while the switch (1) takes care of manual operation.

The button (18) and the switch (1) can be installed at any point on the barbed ring that can use a timer so that the assembly performs its functions, even with manual pressure without the user is seated on the cover.

We do not consider it necessary to go further than this description so that any master of the matter can understand the importance of the invention and the advantages derived therefrom.

The materials, the shape, the format and the arrangement of the elements will be liable to variations if this does not involve an alteration of the essence of the invention.

The terms we have used when describing and writing this memoir should be considered in their broadest and not limiting sense.

Claims (5)

The cover for sanitary ware with autonomous aeration, deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements, which has a fan motor powered by batteries which will start up by the implementation of a button by the pressure of the on the cover. It is characterized by being provided with an internal pipe (9) which is accessed through an opening (6) through which the gases evacuated by the user when performing a physiological function on a sanitary, and which are led by the pipe (9) to the internal zone of a filter (8), which has an internal zigzag pipe, until reaching an autonomous Pack assembly where there is a second filter (4 ) so that the air coming from the duct (9) treated by the filter (8) is sucked in by a rod (11) supplied by deflectors (14) and (15), and is then led to the external outlet openings (12) and (13). The cover for sanitary ware with an autonomous aeration, deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements, according to the first claim, characterized by the fact of having batteries (5) which supply the motor (3). Near them have been installed compartments for housing deodorant tablets (16) and (17). They are located in the upper part of the outlet conduits (12) and (13) and, through the grids (21) and (22), they impregnate the air directed towards the outside of the aroma of the deodorant tablets ( 16) and (17). The sanitary cover with autonomous ventilation, deodorization device, with hygienic elements and vibratory stimulation, according to the preceding claims, is characterized by the fact that the autonomous set of operating elements (Pack) can have a suction grid (23) through which the air will also pass independently being treated by the deodorizing tablets (16) and (17) which can optionally be adapted to the suction grid (7). The sanitary cover with an autonomous aeration, deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements, according to previous claims, is characterized in that, in the fluted duct (9), a small motor can be installed (19) powered by cells or batteries, the axis of which can assemble a metallic and eccentric cylinder (20̸) which transmits a vibration to the whole assembly of the ring on which the user sits, which can be adapted on the cover with a pack. The cover for sanitary ware with autonomous aeration, deodorization device, with hygienic and vibratory stimulation elements, according to the preceding claims, is characterized in that, inside the grooved ring on which the buttocks of the user are supported, and in all or in part, one can accommodate a container (10̸) which contains a disinfectant or other liquid, capable of being implemented manually or automatically with a key (18) in automatic operation or a manual start switch (1). The cover can also incorporate a timer so that the assembly can perform its functions from manual pressure.
