Die Zünd- und Brenncharkteristik einer solchen Glimmlampe ergibt quasi-rechteck-förmige Spannungskurven, die bevorzugt Frequenzen enthalten, die zur Erregung des Piezosignalgebers geeignet sind. Durch die Erfindung wird demgemäß der sonst übliche Oszillator bzw. die Schwingungserzeugungsschaltung eingespart, was kostenmäßig bei einem derartigen Einbaugerät nicht unwesentlich ins Gewicht fällt. Claims (4)

  1. Circuit arrangement for a freezer,
    with a first signal lamp (L1) for optical indication of normal operation;
    with a second signal lamp (L2) for optical indication of continuous operation;
    with a third signal lamp (L3) for optical indication of overheating and
    with a warning sound generator (20) for acoustic indication of overheating;
    wherein the warning sound generator (20) is a piezoelectric signal generator, which is controlled by an oscillator,
    characterised in that at least the third signal lamp (L3) is designed as a glow lamp, and that the mains voltage is applied to the third signal lamp (L3) via a series resistance and the third signal lamp (L3) forms the oscillator for the piezoelectric signal generator (20).
  2. A modular unit (10) for a freezer, which is fitted with a circuit arrangement in accordance with Claim 1, and consists of a flat housing which surrounds the following components alongside each other:
    - the first signal lamp (L1), designed as a glow lamp, behind a green transparent cover;
    - the second signal lamp (L2), designed as a glow lamp, behind a yellow transparent cover;
    - the third signal lamp (L3), designed as a glow lamp, behind a red transparent cover;
    - a fast-freeze switch (12) designed as a rocker-switch, a push button switch, a slide switch or a rotary switch;
    - the warning sound generator (20).
  3. A modular unit according to Claim 2,
       characterised in that the front face of the flat housing has built-in clamping springs (44).
  4. A modular unit according to Claim 2,
       characterised in that the fast-freeze switch (12) has a operating rocker (125) with built-in second signal lamp (L2), and that operating rocker (125), the first signal lamp (L1) and the third signal lamp (L3) as well as the warning sound generator (20) are located in a switch cover (42) on the upper narrow face of the housing.
