Description

The invention relates to a tub support made of plastic or hard foam for bathtubs or shower trays.

There are tub supports for installing bathtubs or shower trays Use the tubs with the same external dimensions, however different tub depths and jacket dimensions can. There are tub supports made of a foamed one Shaped body known, the vertical back and has a sloping front to make a step create.

With tub supports of this type, it proves disadvantageous that the front of the tub support due to the Slant has only a small wall thickness. The tub support front is therefore relatively unstable. The lack Stability means that there are tiles on the tub support front only relatively difficult to attach properly to let. There is a risk that the joints between tear the tiles and get the tiles from the front partially loosen the tub support.

Another disadvantage of the known tub support lies in that the lead to the drain set Pipelines are difficult to lay, provided that Tub support with its vertical back on one Wall is set up. Laying the pipes in but the wall means increased effort and additional Costs. Incidentally, it is after German industry Standard (DIN) not permitted, the pipes in the Install wall behind the tub support. If the Pipes not to be laid in the wall must be on changes are made to the tub support itself. The tub support must be processed on the back of the site are used to create ducts to accommodate the piping create. This requires an additional step and consequently an increased workload at Setting up the tub. The cut material is thrown away and pollutes the environment. Beyond that the processing of the tub support with a relative large amount of dirt.

The well-known tub supports are designed to accommodate the siphon an inspection opening. This is generally in the Foot area of the tub support. In the event that the Sifon not arranged in the rear area of the tub support is, with the known tub supports with a suitable Tool a new inspection opening from the Shaped bodies are cut out.

From DE-PS 34 40 291 C1 is a Tub support known, on the one An extension element can be glued on the long side. The add-on element points in the floor area a jump back on. In this recess there are filling elements, have the centering projections and the corresponding centering recesses correspond in the area of the recess, usable.

A tub support with in the area of lower longitudinal edges provided in is substantially rectangular recesses from DE-Gbm 94 15 500 U1 known. In the rectangular cutouts longitudinal edge bodies can be used.

The invention has for its object a universal usable tub support for bathtubs or shower trays to create who can set up without much effort leaves.

The problem is solved with the in the claims 1 and 2 specified features.

On the long sides of the tub support according to the invention there are recesses in the area of the tub support floor provided, which can be closed with moldings provided for this purpose. To the It is possible to close each recess, in each case to provide a molded part. Alternatively, you can multiple moldings are provided to the recess to cover one long side.

If there is a step on the front of the Wanner carrier to be created, the front molding is easy removed from the tub support. At the above the underpass lying vertical wall, which is a sufficient Material thickness, tiles can be properly to lay without any great difficulty. It is due the clean cut edges always a smooth finish between the tub support and the step. Further allows the molding on the wall facing Back of the tub support leading to the siphon Easy to lay pipelines without the Having to edit the tub support afterwards. The The molded part on the back of the tub support is removed and the pipes can be inside the recess be arranged along the long side of the tub support. With the tub support according to the invention can thus be easily create different tub support shapes, without material from the tub support with a tool would have to be removed.

The molded parts are advantageously in the tub support insertable. The molded parts can do this with appropriate Projections be formed in matching recesses on the tub support, e.g. like a dovetail connection intervene or vice versa.

The tub support points towards the drain fitting preferably an inspection opening. The area of application of the tub support according to the invention increases that at least one additional inspection opening can be created easily. For example, this is required if the one to be installed Tub has a central drain. For this are on the tub support floor Such predetermined breaking points or weakening zones arranged that part of the tub support floor, Break out cleanly from the tub support with little effort leaves.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the removable element has the same dimensions like the already prepared inspection opening.

The separated element can therefore not in the required inspection opening inserted in the foot area of the tub to close them.

The following is a reference to the drawings Embodiment of the invention explained in more detail.
