Abstract
Zur Herstellung einer hülsenförmigen Druckform aus einem metallischen Werkstoff für einen Formzylinder einer Druckmaschine wird ein plattenförmiger, mit einer Registereinrichtung versehener Zuschnitt 1 mit einem dem Formzylinder entsprechender Breite und einem in der Länge grobem mit größerem als das für eine Druckform vorgegebene Maß zugeschnitten und gleichzeitig im Bereich der zu verschweißenden Plattenkanten außerhalb des Druckbereichs mit der Registereinrichtung versehen. Der Zuschnitt 1 wird im registergerechten gerundeten Zustand in der Schweißvorrichtung mittels des Laserstrahls 6 a, 6 b als Schneidgerät maßhaltig abgelängt, so daß zwei Abfallstücke 7 a, 7 b entstehen. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer hülsenförmigen Druckform, insbesondere für den Offset-Druck aus einem metallischen Werkstoff für einen Formzylinder einer Druckmaschine, ausgehend von einem plattenförmigen Zuschnitt, der in eine Schweißvorrichtung registergerecht eingespannt wird und dort die sich gegenüberstehenden, den Anfang und Ende der Druckform bildenden Plattenkanten mittels eines Laserstrahls verschweißt werden, so daß eine Druckform-Hülse mit zusammenhängender Umfangsfläche entsteht.The invention relates to a method for producing a sleeve-shaped printing form, in particular for offset printing from a metallic material for a forme cylinder of a printing machine, starting from a plate-shaped blank which is clamped in register in a welding device and there the opposite, the beginning and end the plate edges forming the printing form are welded by means of a laser beam, so that a printing form sleeve with a coherent peripheral surface is formed.

Dazu wird eine Platte sowohl auf das dem Umfang als auch auf das der Breite des Formzylinders entsprechende Maß zugeschnitten und mit einer Registereinrichtung in Form eines Paßloch-Systems mittels einer Plattenstanze versehen. Der maßhaltige Zuschnitt, der genau abgelängt sein muß, erfolgt mittels einer speziellen Blechschere und wird danach registerhaltig in Form einer Hülse in eine Schweißvorrichtung eingespannt. Nun können die den Anfang und das Ende der Druckform bildende Plattenkanten mittels eines vorzugsweise Neodym-YAG-Lasers miteinander längsverschweißt werden.An offset printing form sleeve produced by a generic method is already disclosed in the earlier German patent application P41 40 768.
