Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a compressed air mattress core consisting of an elastic sleeve which is divided into a plurality of compressed air cells lying side by side.
Compressed air mattress cores of this type are generally known. For example, DE - 33 03 615 A1, a couch consisting of a plastic base, the mattress of which is divided into fields serving as hollow-body compartments. The large number of individually inflatable hollow bodies provided there allow the lying surface to be adapted to different body shapes by individually inflating or deflating air.
Furthermore, it is known from DE - 41 01 781 A1 to divide air mattresses into several chambers. In this way, an intermediate layer between the body and the bed or floor that can be adapted to the individual body shape is to be achieved. In both this and the mattress described above, there is no pressure equalization between the chambers or the individual cells when in use, and therefore the individual adjustment depends solely on the degree of filling of the chambers. However, this is not sufficient comfort and there is also no ventilation to prevent moisture, e.g. dissipate when sweating.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing compressed air mattresses with an elastic cover which, when in use, enable individual adaptation by pressure compensation between the compressed air cells and ventilation for moisture removal. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the compressed air cells by a in the shell between the compressed air cells provided channel system are interconnected, and that the shell is penetrated by a plurality of openings that do not influence the compressed air cells perpendicular to the channel system.
With such a compressed air mattress, the measure according to the invention enables individual pressure compensation between the individual compressed air cells, which is dependent on the respective body shape, and thus optimum lying comfort. In addition, the breakthroughs ensure adequate ventilation and thus moisture removal, e.g. when sweating.
Further developments and advantageous refinements of the invention can be found in claims 2 to 10.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, the
