Claims (5)

  1. Ein Selbstschutzsystem, einschließlich eines elektrischen Heizwiderstands, insbesondere ein Heizelement für Waschmaschinen, Warmwasserbereiter und ähnliches; das System umfasst ein Abschlusselement (2) aus Kupfer mit wesentlich gestreckter Form, wobei ein Ende desselben an dem elektrischen Heizwiderstand (1) angebracht ist; ein äußeres Gehäuse (6) umschließt das elektrische Heizelement (1) sowie das Abschlusselement (2) aus Kupfer; ein Selbstschutzelement (4), das an das andere Ende des besagten Abschlusselements aus Kupfer angebracht ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Selbstschutzelement (4) außerhalb des äußeren Gehäuses (6) angebracht ist; ein äußerer ringförmiger Isolierungskörper (5), der thermische und elektrisch isolierende Eigenschaften aufweist, der das Selbstschutzelement (4) überlappt; besagter Körper ist an besagtem äußerem Gehäuse (6) angebracht; ein Schließelement (7) ist über dem Ende des Selbstschutzelements (4) angebracht, das nicht mit dem Abschlusselement (2) aus Kupfer verbunden ist, wobei das besagte Schließelement (7) mit dem besagten Körper (5) venbunden ist.
  2. Selbstschutzsystem gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Selbstschutzelement (4) aus einem wärmeschmelzbarem Element gefertigt ist, das am dem Abschlusselement (2) aus Kupfer angeklemmt ist.
  3. Selbstschutzsystem gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Schließelement (7) eine Oberfläche aufweist, die sich für die Anbringung eines Anschlusses für die Stromkabel des elektrischen Heizelements (1) eignet.
  4. Selbstschutzsystem gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schließelement (7) mit dem äußeren Gehäuse (6) über einen hohlen Isolierungskörper (5) verbunden ist, der das Abschlusselement (2) aus Kupfer und das Selbstschutzelement (4) umgibt.
  5. Selbstschutzsystem gemäß den Ansprüchen 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in den vorhandenem Raum zwischen der Innenfläche des hohlen Isolierungskörpers (5) und dem inneren Abschlusselement (2) aus Kupfer ein Versiegelungsmaterial (3) eingefüllt wird; der Zweck des besagten Versiegelungsmaterials ist der Schutz des elektrischen Heizwiderstands (1) sowie des Abschlusselements (2) aus Kupfer vor Feuchtigkeit.
