Abstract

The invention proposes a pacifier (A, B) for children which comprises a mouth rubber (1), a mouth plate (2) and a connection element (4) engaging in an opening (3) of the mouth plate (2) and firmly clamping the open end of the mouth rubber (1). The connection element (4) mounts a gripping member (6, 6a) which can be pivoted relative to the mouth plate (2) and which essentially does not project beyond the edge of the mouth plate (2) at least in a position pivoted against the mouth plate (2). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kindersauger, wie er im Volksmund allgemein auch als "Schnuller" oder "Nuckel" bezeichnet wird.The invention relates to a child's teat, as it is commonly referred to as "pacifier" or "teat".

Derartige Sauger werden Säuglingen und Kleinkindern zu Beruhigung gereicht. Aus dem deutschen Gebrauchsmuster 6 750 990 ist ein Sauger bekannt, der im wesentlichen eine Blase, eine Mundscheibe und einen mittels einer Öse an Blase und Mundscheibe befestigten Griffring umfaßt. Der Griffring läßt sich dabei mittels einer Stellraste in verschiedenen Positionen feststellen. Damit kann die richtige Stellung der Blase angezeigt werden, wenn sich der Sauger im Kindermund befindet. Der Griffring ist relativ groß ausgebildet, so daß das Kind mit seinen gegebenenfalls noch unkontrollierten Bewegungen ihn gut greifen kann. Üblicherweise ist der Griffring jedoch - wie dort in der Zeichnung ebenfalls zu sehen ist - derart ausgebildet, daß sich dieser störend im Gesicht, zum Beispiel an der Nase oder am Kinn, des Kindes bemerkbar macht. Dies trifft beispielsweise auch für den aus der US 4,765,037 bekannten Sauger zu. Unter Umständen wird das Kind dadurch mehr gestört, als daß es beruhigt wird.Such teats are given to soothe infants and young children. Figur 1 zeigt eine erste besonders einfache Ausführungsform des Saugers A.
