Abstract

The operation of the minute and hour hands of prior art analog secondary clocks requires an electronic stepping mechanism integrated into each hand. The purpose of the invention is the further design development and simplification of the system by moving both clock hands by means of one stepping mechanism integrated only into the minute hand. The drawing in the figure clarifies the mechanical advance of the hour hand (14) by the minute drive (22) secured to the minute hand (3) via the minute wheel drive (23) and the hour wheel (15) with a reduction ratio of 12:1. The embodiment is specially designed for radio controlled electronic analog secondary clocks with a 'jumping second' and a 'creeping minute'.

Description

Elektronische Analognebenuhr mit Zeigerlängen zwischen 250 und 600 mm.Electronic analog slave clock with pointer lengths between 250 and 600 mm.

Die Erfindung betrifft die Weiterentwicklung elektronischer Analognebenuhren nach dem Oberbegriff der Patentansprüche, insbesonders nach Patent DE 39 18 637 C2 (Hauptpatent) und Patent DE 40 16 444 C2 (Zusatzpatent). The invention relates to the further development of electronic analog slave clocks according to the preamble of the claims, in particular according to patent DE 39 18 637 C2 (main patent) and patent DE 40 16 444 C2 (additional patent).

The analog slave clocks known from the two patents receive their drive energy for time advancement from an electronic step switch integrated in the minute and hour hands.

The object of the invention is to simplify the design of the drive system by using a single indexing mechanism for advancing the time of the minute and hour hands. This object is achieved by the construction specified in the patent claims. The advantages of the invention can be seen in the fact that with pointer lengths between 250 and 600 mm there is no stepping mechanism for driving the respective hour hand, which simplifies the construction of the electronic analog slave clocks and achieves a cost reduction of the product. For electronic analogue clocks with a dial diameter of 1200 mm, there are further advantages in that the complete, ready-to-connect functional unit, consisting of protective housing, drive and pointer mechanism system, can be easily mounted on the plaster on site, which is also valid for the wall mounting of the timepiece. that the elimination of time-consuming, difficult-to-view glazing in factories, sports halls and hypermarkets ensures precise time information from a great distance and when viewed from an acute angle, to which the so-called "creeping minute" also contributes, the time intervals of quarter minutes being clearly distinguishable .
