Description

Support devices for wall or ceiling cladding are composed of vertical and / or horizontal support rails to which the wall or ceiling parts are attached. The connection of these mounting rails to the wall takes place by means of special wall brackets with which the mounting rails are firmly connected, for example by riveting, screwing or the like. In order to facilitate the assembly work, it is already known to provide the wall bracket with clamping tongues, the web of the mounting rails to be fastened between the tongue and the surface of the Wall holder inserted and thereby clamped. With this provisional determination, it is then still possible to move the mounting rails exactly into the desired position, in which they are then held by the contact pressure of the clamping tongue. The final connection of the parts can then take place, for example, by riveting. The rivets are inserted in elongated holes in the wall bracket so that the forces resulting from the changes in length of the mounting rails in the event of temperature fluctuations are not transmitted to the wall bracket. Otherwise there would be a risk that the wall dowels used to attach the wall brackets to the wall would become loosened over time due to the continuous action of opposing forces.

If the clamping tongues are firmly connected to the wall brackets or are made in one piece with them, in view of the large contact pressure of the clamping tongues, these and the wall brackets are partially moved when the length of the mounting rails changes, so that this leads to the undesirable shaking movements of the wall anchor.

Durch die Art der Verbindung der Befestigungszunge mit dem Träger wird dabei jede Verdrehung ausgeschlossen.US-A-2 296 742 shows a wall holder with a plurality of fastening tongues which are slotted with elongated holes on tabs bent out of the material of a carrier, so that they then lie directly on the surface of the carrier. Elongated wall parts are then pushed onto these fastening tongues, which run parallel to each other. Due to the type of connection of the fastening tongue to the carrier, any twisting is excluded.

The object of the present invention is to provide a wall holder which, on the one hand, enables the provisional fastening by means of clamping tongues, but on the other hand prevents the transmission of forces in the event of changes in length of the mounting rails to the wall holder or the clamping tongues and thus to the dowels. This is achieved according to the invention in that the clamping tongues, which are manufactured as separate parts, are fastened so that they can pivot at least to a limited extent in a parallel plane to their fastening surface. The length changes of the mounting rails now only cause a slight pivoting of the clamping tongues in one direction or the other, but the forces transmitted to the wall bracket are reduced to a minimum, so that the risk of loosening of the wall plugs is excluded.

The clamping tongues can be attached to the wall brackets either by a screw or by a rivet, in which case, of course, care must be taken that the attachment is carried out with a slight play, so that the necessary pivoting movement is also ensured. In a particularly simple embodiment, the rivet is pressed out of the material of the fastening surface of the wall holder. The clamping tongues can also be retrofitted to the screws or rivets by providing their fastening ends with a locking slot are, with which they can then be easily plugged in after inserting the screw or manufacturing the rivet.

In another preferred type of fastening of the clamping tongues, their fastening ends are inserted into a slot formed by the fastening surface and a web running approximately parallel to it. The web can expediently be pressed out of the material of the fastening surface. In order to reliably prevent the clamping tongues from accidentally falling out of the slot, the fastening ends of the clamping tongues have, according to a further feature of the invention, one or more barbs which engage in corresponding recesses in the web intervene easily so that the rotatability is still guaranteed. The barbs and the depressions can be sawtooth-shaped. The fixing in the slot can, however, also be achieved by a tab which is bent out of the material of the clamping tongues and which engages in a corresponding recess in the fastening surface.

The angular wall bracket 1 is attached with its one leg 2 by means of a screw 3 to a dowel, not shown, inserted into the wall 12. The other leg 4 is used by means of the rivets 6 provided in elongated holes 5 for Attachment of a mounting rail 7, of which only a short piece is shown. On the cross leg 8 of the mounting rail 7, the wall or ceiling cladding are then attached in a manner not shown.

In order to facilitate assembly, it is expedient to temporarily fix the mounting rails 7 to the wall bracket 4 before final attachment by the rivets 6, in which case they can then be moved into the correct position. Clamping tongues 9, which are connected by their rear fastening ends 10 to the leg 4 by means of a screw or a rivet 11, serve for the provisional clamping. The attachment is made such that the clamping tongue 9 is pivotable to a certain extent parallel to the plane of the mounting surface of the angle 4. If changes in length of the mounting rail 8 now occur due to temperature fluctuations, the clamping tongue 9 can move to the required extent, so that almost no forces are exerted on the wall bracket 1 or by means of the screw 3 on the wall dowel, not shown. The elongated holes 5, in which the rivets 6 can be moved in the longitudinal direction, also serve the same purpose.

The design of the rivet 11 holding the clamping tongue 9 can be seen from the cross section in FIG. 3. The rivet is pressed out of the material of the fastening surface for the clamping tongues 9, namely the angle 4.

The fastening end 10 here is namely with a Provide locking slot 13 so that the clamping tongue 9 can be pushed onto the rivet or a screw 11 and locked.

Another preferred fastening option is shown in FIGS. 4 to 7. In this design, a web 14 is bent out of the material of the fastening surface, namely the angle 4, so that a slot 15 results, in which the fastening end 10 of the clamping tongue 9 is inserted. On the upper and lower edges of the clamping tongue 9 there is so much leeway that the pivoting movement of the clamping tongue 9 is ensured to a sufficient extent. In order to prevent the fastening end 10 of the clamping tongue 9 from slipping out, according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5, this is provided with a barb 16 which engages in a corresponding recess 17 in the web 14. In FIG. 6, instead of the barb 15, a saw toothing 18 is provided at the fastening end 10 of the clamping tongue 9, which interacts with a corresponding saw toothing 19 of the web 14. In both cases there is again sufficient play to ensure the required pivoting movement of the clamping tongue 9. Another type of fixing results from FIG. 7. Here, at the fastening end 10, a tab 20 is bent out of the clamping tongue 9, which engages in the recess 21 formed by pressing the web 14 out of the angle 4 and in this way carries out the securing .

In the case of particularly heavy constructions, it may be necessary if the pressing force of a clamping tongue 9 is insufficient, to provide a wall bracket with several such tongues. The clamping tongues 9 can consist of metal, plastic or coated material depending on the requirements. It is advisable to reduce the friction between the parts as much as possible by means of raised edges or curves.
