Abstract

Apparatus automatically actuated by introducing coins, and whose characteristics make it appropriate for installation in any place where it is considered useful, such as premises, kiosks or in the open air. It is provided with a lifting system (8), a board (10) with an inclination and predetermined grooves, vertical adjustable bars (15) and two arms (13, 14) for holding and entraining the issues. It is adapted for any size of newspapers, without taking into account the thickness of the newspapers, avoids displacement or alterations which deteriorate the sheets. It may be adapted to one, two, three cabins, etc., large or small, with dispensin g outlets of the copies at the top part or at the bottom part, and easy replenishment of the same.

Description

  • The present inventions refers, as its own name indicates, to a dispenser unit for newspapers, magazines and all types of publications, which includes a device that allows its operation by means of introducing coins, whose characteristics make it suitable for installation in any pre-determined place, where its service is considered useful, thus providing a specific publication at any time, by means of a simple operation.
  • The present invention covers the technical void existing due to the total absence of public devices for obtaining all types of publications, that can be installed inside any building, such as cafeterias, bars, hotels, train and bus stations, airports, hospitals, waiting rooms, gas stations, large companies and others, occupying a minimum space, and its outdoor installation, either attached to existing newspaper stands or in any other outdoor area is of great importance.
  • The advantages this invention represents, both on a public as well as a dispenser level, are outstanding as installation of the device in question permits staff reduction, with the possibility of closing the newspaper stand, with the assurance that sales will continue without interruption and, on the other hand, the public can obtain any publication at any time it so desires.
  • In the drawings, FIGURE 1 represents a perspective view of the complete unit, with details of the most important elements' location.
  • FIGURE 2 represents the same device, in another mode. By changing the motor's location, we obtain a greater capacity, the panel can go down to the motor's height and the power stud can reach the upper part of the compartment.
  • FIGURE 3 represents a diagram of the different elements in the invented device:
    • PANEL - 10- with an inclined position to facilitate the copy falling down to the outside. Two side slots and one upper slot, whose object is to leave the adjustable vertical bars free, so that they can move up and down freely.
    • ELEVATOR - 8 - an elevator system, preferably a micromotor that raises up to the newspaper panel until coming in contact with the vertical pusher arm. Stopping can be controlled by means of a photoelectric cell.
    • ADJUSTABLE VERTICAL RODS -15- and -13- will be adjustable in the compartment's upper part and the lower part can also be adjusted if necessary, depending on the number of copies. Initially, it will adapt to any size newspaper, and the newspapers will not be subject to any movement or alteration that could deteriorate their pages.
    • LOWER VERTICAL ROD -11- will receive the weight of the copies as a result of the panel's incline, and it will go from the floor up to the compartment's outlet level. This rod can be lowered by means of a flange to facilitate refilling copies.
    • TWO ARMS : the first -13- coupled to the adjustable upper rod, with two positions -one vertical for the initial position and the other for pressing downwards on the copies by means of a rectangular plate with a rubber layer so that it adheres to the paper. The second arm -14- is an extendable vertical pipe fixed to the cieling with rods which will be a continuation of the upper vertical rod's adjustment, with a movement that pushes the copy toward the outlet. The latter's course may be sufficient for grabbing the newspaper or for totally expelling same. This arm will also have a rectangular plate with a rubber layer on its end so that it adheres well to the paper and in the upper part of this plate there is a flange to push the copies towards the outlet. Both arms will be synchronized with the motor's timing.
  • FIGURE 4 represents a general view of the unit's housing and a perspective of the access door from an upper and lower position, with the possibility of placing a copy so that the newspaper or magazine's cover can been seen.
  • FIGURE 5 represents, as an example, several possibilities of adapting the dispenser device and unit, operated by introducing coins, change return and several selection buttons.
  • All the elements mentioned can easily be manufactured in any type of appropriate materials and in the most suitable forms and dimensions, without any limitation whatsoever existing in this regard.
  • With the nature and object of this invention having been sufficiently described, the only additional statement to be made is that any modification of details carried out in same will be considered as included in this registration protection as long as the change or modification does not alter its characteristic end purpose.
