Abstract

A furniture combination, in particular in the form of a wall-unit system for kitchen and/or living room, consists of at least two base-supporting furniture sections 11, 12, in particular in the form of wall-unit sections, with shelf, cupboard and/or cabinet elements 15, 16, 26, 27, 23, 24, 34, 35. Description

The invention relates to a furniture combination, in particular a wall unit, comprising at least two base-supported furniture sections with shelf, cupboard and / or buffet elements.

For the furnishing of living rooms and kitchens, it has so far been customary to use standard wall units or kitchen units which are arranged in an existing straight or rectangular installation space. If the available space is limited and / or the wall unit or the kitchen unit should not or cannot be set up at right angles, the only option so far is to have the wall unit or kitchen unit adapted or even manufactured by a carpenter. The wall unit or kitchen unit is therefore adapted to the existing dimensions, can usually not be taken away when moving and can only be replaced with a loss to a subsequent tenant.

There is therefore a need to create a mobile furniture combination that can be easily adapted to different installation conditions.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by a furniture combination, in particular in the form of a wall unit or a kitchenette, which consists of at least two base-supported furniture sections with shelf, cupboard and / or buffet elements, each furniture section having at least one lateral connection area via which it adjustable in angle with a connection area of another furniture section.

The solution according to the invention makes it possible to adjust the angle between the two furniture sections as desired, for example at right angles, 45 °, 180 ° or 240 °. The furniture combination can be set up either on certain wall constellations or even freely as a room divider. Due to the high mobility verified according to the invention, it is advantageously also possible at any time to set up the furniture combination differently or even to move to another apartment.

In the simplest design of the furniture combination, it consists of two furniture sections. Of course, three or more furniture sections can also be provided, but then the furniture sections, each bordering another furniture section, have a lateral connection area on both sides. In this way, longer furniture units can also be realized, possibly continuously over several angled walls and / or as a room divider.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the connection areas of two furniture sections can be fastened to a common hinge element, which advantageously serves as an axis of rotation for adjusting the corresponding angular position between two articulated living wall sections and is preferably designed as a hinge column made of metal or wood with a round or polygonal cross section.

Preferably, the connection areas of two furniture sections have laterally projecting board sections which can be fastened to one another in an overlapping position on the joint element. This not only results in a closed appearance, but also an additional stabilization of the furniture combination in the connection area as a result of the mutual support based on the overlapping board sections.

The articulated element is preferably made of chromed steel or painted in the corresponding wall color and has individual sections which can be fitted to one another, between which overlapping board sections of two connected furniture sections can be fastened to one another at a desired horizontal angle.

The joint element preferably consists of hollow cylindrical sections with threaded bushes on the end for connecting screw elements which pass through the overlapping board sections. Advantageously, the furniture combination can thus be easily assembled even in a desired angular configuration for laymen and dismantled again if necessary.

In this context, it is also advantageous if the joint element has a preferably height-adjustable base section in order to be able to align the two furniture sections in the intended manner in the case of uneven floors without additional bracing in the connection area. Such height-adjustable base sections are also present on each furniture section, wherein in one embodiment each furniture section is supported in its connection area via the hinge element and in its opposite area via two separate, preferably height-adjustable base elements. According to an alternative embodiment, each furniture section can be supported in its connection area via two own preferably height-adjustable base elements and in its opposite area via two own preferably height-adjustable base elements.

With this additional support, it is possible to carry off the resulting load safely without impairing the furniture combination, even in the case of heavier buffet elements or intended heavier installations in cupboard elements, such as stoves, refrigerators, etc.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one furniture section has a structure of support columns, shelf and cabinet elements. As a result, for aesthetic reasons, the shape of the articulated element is again taken up in the edge area of the furniture combination. On the other hand, this support column design means that a high load can be safely and reliably absorbed and transmitted. The structure of the support columns preferably corresponds to that of the articulated element, so that the same assembly and manufacturing advantages also result in this respect.

As an alternative or in addition, at least one furniture section can have a shelf and cupboard element structure which extends to the respective connection area and is fastened to the joint element by means of additional shelf boards.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the connection area of two furniture sections to be connected has swivel sections which are widened in the form of a circular section and which preferably accommodate a flexible buffet wall. As a result, not only can the angular range be made appealing and the appearance of the furniture combination loosened, but it can also always be provided with a cupboard or buffet element that can be closed in any angular position of the furniture sections.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, it is also favorable if the joint element has intermediate sections with threaded bushes on the end for fastening shelf elements that are part of the joint element. The hollow cylinder section 48 in turn has a threaded bushing 49 on the upper side. The living wall section 56 is supported only by two base elements 58 which are thicker in comparison to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 and has a buffet area 59 which is closed on the underside by a cupboard floor 60 and on the top side by a buffet board 61.
