Abstract

Waterproof clothing having a textile upper material, a textile lining and a waterproof functional layer arranged between them which is permeable to water vapour, having an upper flap (33) and a lower flap (35) which can be connected to one another detachably by means of snap fasteners (57). The upper flap (33) is folded into a cross-sectionally U-shaped pocket (37) which is open towards the lower flap (35). The lower flap (35) extends into the U-shaped pocket (37). The two U limbs (39, 41) of the upper flap (33) and the lower flap (35) can be connected to one another in a detachable manner by means of double snap fasteners. Of the double snap fasteners (57), a snap fastener central part (61) is attached to the lower flap (35) and two snap fastener outer parts (59) are attached in each case to one of the U-shaped limbs (39, 41) of the upper flap (33). <IMAGE>
