Description
The invention relates to a device for guiding pallets of different sizes in the area of a loading area of a cargo hold of an aircraft.
Devices of this type are in particular arranged parallel to an insertion direction in the area of cargo hold doors in order to enable a defined insertion of load-bearing pallets into the cargo hold of the aircraft. In order to take into account different sizes of the pallets, it is known to arrange guide elements in a suitable manner in the region of the loading space floor. It is also possible to arrange a plurality of guide elements next to or behind one another and to remove any disruptive or disruptive guide element for a current loading process.
However, such a procedure requires a lot of work. In addition, the guide elements cannot be adequately arranged at a short distance from one another. However, it is precisely the use of the cargo space and the possibility of short loading times that essentially determine the costs incurred for each transport.
The object of the present invention is therefore to construct a device of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that guide elements required for guiding pallets of different sizes can be arranged at a short distance from one another and an automatic sinking of one of the guide elements in the loading space floor when handling large pallets spatial expansion is made possible with little effort.
This object is achieved in that a front and a rear pivotable guide element are arranged one behind the other transversely to a direction of transport of the pallets entering the cargo hold, each of the guide elements has a projection which overlaps a respective assigned pallet in some areas and acts on the pallet in the area of guide surfaces Guide rollers is provided, the front guide element is pivotable in a direction oriented downward its guide surface and the rear guide element can be pivoted in a direction oriented upward its guide surface, and the front guide element has at least one roll bar pointing in the transport direction of the pallet, which has the guide element at one Weighting pivoted into the area of a load floor.
The arrangement of two guide elements one behind the other makes it possible to precisely guide pallets of different sizes. The distance between the guide elements is selected depending on the different dimensions of the pallets. With the help of the projections overlapping the pallets, the pallet is lifted off the floor of the loading space and thus prevents the cargo transported on the pallets from slipping. When a small pallet is guided, it is guided by the front guide element. When handling a large pallet, it first reaches the area of the roll bar and, due to a weight load on the roll bar, pivots the front guide element into the area of the loading space floor. The fact that the pivoting takes place in such a way that after the pivoting has been carried out the guide surface points downward, obstruction of the rear guide element is avoided by this pivoting process. Likewise, when the rear guide element is pivoted by the selected pivoting direction, there is no impairment of the front guide element. The guide elements can thus be arranged at a very small distance from one another. The guide rollers are provided in order to avoid frictional forces loading the guide elements. This enables the pallets to be guided without great effort. This reduction in force loads enables the guide elements and the required swivel bearings to be constructed very easily.
Some preferred features of the invention are set forth below.
To ensure both easy rollability of the roll bar and easy Embodiment is proposed that the roll bar is formed essentially from a base segment pointing in the transport direction of the pallets and from legs extending at an angle to the base segment.
In particular, it is contemplated that the legs extend at an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the base segment.
The palpability of a pallet is improved in that the legs point obliquely downwards from an orientation facing the rear guide element in the direction of the guide surface of the front guide element.
An improvement in the assembly properties can be achieved in that the guide elements are arranged on a common carrier which carries the pivot elements holding the guide elements.
A universal assembly with little effort is achieved in that the carrier of mounting elements can be fixed in the area of seat rails, which are laid in the area of the cargo area floor.
To reduce frictional forces in the area of the guide elements, it is proposed that two guide rollers are arranged in the area of each of the guide surfaces.
A traversability of the rear guide element and sufficient securing in a working position is supported in that the rear guide element is fixed in a working position by a locking bracket, which with a locking lug Reaches behind the locking edge of the rear guide element.
A simple manual actuation or foot actuation of the rear guide element can be achieved in that the locking bracket is arranged pivotably.
To improve the operating properties of the guide elements, it is proposed that at least one of the guide elements be acted upon by a spring preload.

A device for guiding pallets essentially consists of a front guide element (1) and a rear guide element (2). The front guide element (1) has a pivot bearing (3) and the rear guide element (2) has a pivot bearing (4). In a working position, the guide elements (1, 2) with guide surfaces (5, 6) are oriented essentially perpendicular to a load compartment floor (7). In a rest position, the front guide element (1) essentially has its guide surface (5) downwards and the rear guide element (2) points in a rest position with its guide surface (6) essentially upwards.
In order to adequately secure the pallets to be guided against being lifted off the loading space floor (7), the guide elements (1, 2) are provided with projections (8, 9) which overlap the pallets in certain areas. Guide rollers (10, 11) are provided to reduce frictional forces.
The pivot bearings (3, 4) are arranged in the area of a support (12) which can be lowered into the loading space floor (7) and which can be fixed in seat rails (14) of the loading space floor (7) by means of mounting elements (13). The mounting elements (13) can be designed, for example, as screw connections.
The front guide element (1) has a roll bar (15) which is formed from a base segment (16) and legs (17, 18). The legs (17, 18) extend at an angle to the base segment (16). For example, an angle of 45 degrees can be realized. Starting from an extension facing the rear guide element (2), the legs (17, 18) point obliquely downwards in the direction of the guide surface (1) and end areas dip into the cargo area floor (7). This makes it easier for pallets to run onto the roll bar (15).
The rear guide element (2) is fixed in its working position by a locking bracket (19). The locking bracket (19) is pivotally mounted and has a locking lug (20). The locking lug (20) engages behind a locking edge (21) of the rear guide element (2). Through this The rear grip prevents the locking bracket (19) from slipping off the rear guide element (2). A spring element (22) can be provided to enable the rear guide element (2) to be easily pivoted into its rest position.
When handling a large pallet, it is first guided into the area of the roll bar (15) and pivots the front guide element (1) into the area of the loading space floor (7). The front guide element (1) can thereby be run over. The control functions are carried out by the rear guide element (2). In order to enable the pallet to be positioned beyond the rear guide element (2), the locking bracket (19) can be positioned out of the area of the locking edge (21), for example manually or by foot actuation, and the rear guide element (2) can then be moved into the area of the Loading space floor (7) are pivoted into it. After such pivoting of the two guide elements (1, 2), there are no elements which protrude beyond an upper boundary (23) of the load compartment floor (7).
