It is much more difficult to do this if the barbs face inwardly than if they face outwardly.
- the disposable element may be made of a plastics material having significant resistance to repair by adhesive means, there is a further impediment to such repair in the present design in that, on breaking, each barb separates from the head part as an individual piece. Consequently, the stress induced by deformation of the barbs when inserted in the base member would be applied directly to the area of a repair should one have to be made.
- a further improvement is effected by making the closure member 4 of metal, such as a zinc alloy, rather than of plastics material.

- plastics material unauthorised interference can be effected by pushing a hot wire through the housing, and releasing the barbs of the locking mechanism in this way. When the hot wire is removed, the hole may sometimes seal itself and make the interference difficult to detect. However, this is not possible if the closure member is made of metal.

- the base member 1 is fixed to a side of the box, and the article closure member 4 is hinged to a bar member 42 attached to the lid.
- the article closure member 4 is hinged outwardly to permit closing of the box lid 41, then hinged inwardly into engagement with the base member 1. Locking is then effected by pushing the disposable element 27 into the opening formed by the article closure member and base member. Unlocking is effected in the same way as described in relation to Figures 3 to 7.

Claims (4)
- Dispositif de verrouillage d'un élément de fermeture d'article (4) dans sa position de fermeture d'article, comprenant :un élément de base (1) se fixant à demeure sur l'article et ayant un moyen (11) pour aligner l'élément de fermeture (4) dans ladite position de fermeture d'article de telle sorte qu'il recouvre au moins une partie dudit élément de base;le moyen d'alignement (11) définissant au moins une partie d'une entrée prévue pour recevoir une partie d'un élément de verrouillage jetable (27); etun élément de verrouillage jetable (27) complètement séparé dudit élément de base (1) et constitué de matière plastique synthétique;l'élément jetable (27) ayant une partie mâle enfichable (32) qui peut se déformer élastiquement et peut être introduite par coulissement dans l'entrée dudit moyen d'alignement, mais ne peut pas en être retirée par coulissement;l'élément jetable (27) ayant aussi une partie tête (33) reliée à la partie mâle enfichable (32), la partie tête étant extérieure audit moyen d'alignement, et couvrant aussi une partie de l'élément de fermeture (4) pour l'empêcher de se dégager de l'élément d'alignement (11) lorsque la partie mâle enfichable a été introduite dans l'entrée, et pendant qu'il est dans cette position, étant accessible pour être manipulé manuellement afin de permettre à la partie tête (33) d'être enlevée de la partie mâle enfichable (32) par rupture, cela permettant à l'élément de fermeture (4) d'être retirée de l'élément d'alignement (11) et à la partie mâle enfichable maintenant séparée d'être enlevée, après quoi l'élément de base (1) et le moyen d'alignement (11) peuvent être réutilisés avec un nouvel élément jetable pour reverrouiller l'élément de fermeture d'article (4) selon besoin,caractérisé en ce que l'élément de base (1) comprend un moyen (34) pour maintenir temporairement l'élément jetable (27) avec la partie mâle enfichable à proximité mais à l'extérieur de ladite entrée, et pour guider l'insertion coulissante de la partie mâle enfichable de l'élément jetable dans ladite entrée.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le moyen de maintien et de guidage (34) comprend une paire de pattes en saillie présentant des parties supérieures rabattues vers l'intérieur.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2 dans lequel la partie mâle enfichable (32) comprend deux éléments en pointe de flèche présentant des barbes dirigées vers l'intérieur.
- Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3 dans lequel l'élément de fermeture (4) est réalisé en métal.
