Abstract

The invention relates to an interface plate for an Alpine-ski safety binding. The plate has a rim (3) extending along at least a portion of the lateral edges of the base. The plate has, on either side of its median zone, a lateral portion (5) which carries the rim (3). The lateral portions (5) are inclined substantially downwards and outwards from the plate so that, during assembly of the base of the binding onto the ski, the plate being pinched between the base and the ski binding, the lateral portions (5) are straightened so as to be horizontal, thus forcing the rims (3) to be pressed along the lateral edges of the base. <IMAGE>
