Abstract

The printing blanket detergent is a microemulsion comprising a) from 5 to 40% by weight of ethoxylated partial glyceride of caprylic/capric acid having 5 to 10 mol of ethylene oxide, b) from 1 to 10% by weight of 1,2-bis-(oxazolin-2-yl)ethane and c) from 10 to 90% by weight of at least one saturated fatty acid methyl ester, selected from the group comprising methyl caprylate, methyl caprate, methyl laurate, methyl myristate or coconut fatty acid methyl ester, and exhibiting a good cleaning effect on printing blankets which are heavily soiled by printing ink residues and components of paper.
