Abstract

Labelling machine for containers, especially bottles, by means of which each container is provided with at least one label and which has a device for the removal of any moisture or the like which may be present on the outside wall of the container before labelling. Provision has been made for the device (18) to take the form of a moisture wiping off device (43), the wiper (53) of which comes into contact with the outside wall of the container, and for a relative movement between the container (6) and the wiper (53) to be executed for wiping off to take place. <IMAGE>
