Description

The invention relates to a method for washing and bleaching laundry according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Man verwendet dazu z. Bleaches are important for stain treatment when washing laundry. One uses z. B. sodium perborate, which releases bleach-active oxygen during the washing process at temperatures from 60 ° C and z. B. Red wine, fruit and vegetable stains destroyed by oxidation. Bleach activators, e.g. B. the tetraacetylethylenediamine (TEAD) activate the perborate below 60 ° C and enable bleaching in the 40 ° C washing area. Peracid is formed, which removes the stains.

From US-A-3,027,741 a method for washing and bleaching laundry in a program-controlled washing machine with a washing drum rotating in a tub is known. This washing machine has a detergent dispenser connected to a water inflow system and having a plurality of chambers for storing detergents and a bleach, these detergents being able to be dispensed into the laundry drum via the water inflow system equipped with program-controlled valves. The bleaching-in process for the bleaching agent is only triggered with a certain time delay after the start of the main washing phase via the control device of the washing machine.

Proceeding from this prior art, the object of the invention is to make the time-delayed flushing of the bleaching agent into the wash-active wash liquor much more effective.

The solution to this problem according to the invention is that the rinsing process for the bleaching agent is controlled as a function of the wash liquor temperature and the rinsing of the bleaching agent is carried out at a wash liquor temperature between 30 and 60 ° C, preferably at 40 ° C.

The fact that the bleaching agent is flushed into the active wash liquor as a function of the wash liquor temperature means that the enzymes in the detergent can initially work unhindered at the removal of protein-containing contaminants even at low wash temperatures. The dirt removal z. B. of blood is significantly improved in this way without a deterioration of the subsequent bleaching effect must be accepted. With the separate and late use of the bleach, general use of full detergents can therefore be dispensed with and the environment can thus be significantly relieved.

The proposed method for supplying a bleaching agent is particularly suitable for program-controlled washing machines which are combined with one in one Suds container revolving drum and a detergent dispenser designed as a drawer are equipped with several chambers for detergents and washing aids and in which the washing process is divided into a prewash or soak phase I, a main wash phase II and a rinse and spin phase III. The bleaching agent is expediently flushed in at a time during the heating-up period A of the main washing phase II or shortly after the end of this period. The possible time range for flushing in the bleaching agent is indicated by B in the attached working diagram.
It is expedient to rinse the bleaching agent about 5 to 20 minutes, preferably 10 minutes, after the start of the main washing phase II. If the bleaching agent is flushed in depending on the temperature, this process takes place at a wash liquor temperature between 30 and 60 ° C., but preferably at 40 ° C. The bleaching agent is flushed in with about one liter of fresh water. When washing in a bleach, u. The main wash phase II may also be extended somewhat. The separate bleaching agent can be rinsed in depending on the actuation of a wash program additional key or depending on a corresponding program selection.
