Abstract
The object of the invention deals with a detachable and disposable protector of the type compounding a laminate structure piece (1), such as for instance a paper, a non-woven fabric or similar low-cost material, which includes at one of its faces, taken as the main or recto side (1a), an antiadhesive treatment (2) based on silicone, paraffin or other similar products, while the opposed face or reverse side (1b) exhibits at least a tape (3) compounding a molten or cold self-adhesive matter. This organisation makes easy the stowage, storage and merchandising of the laminate protector without resorting to the paraffin-paper tape and concurrently due to the suppression of said paraffin-paper tape, the application of the protecting sheet on the seat, is facilitated and simplified, preferably at the seat's back.
Description
- The present invention refers to a new arrangement to fit a detachable protector at the seat's back.
- The object of the invention deals with a new arrangement, particularly designed for implementing an eventual fit for a detachable and disposable protecting member on the seat's back, this protector being of the type made from a laminate structured piece, such as a paper, a non-woven fabric or similar low-cost material, suitable for a single use whatever.
- In the present prior art are well known several protectors of the type previously cited, designed to perform a function equivalent to the one disclosed, the main object sought after in all them however is the procurement of quick and low-cost fitting means for the protecting member at the seat's back to be applied, said means however shall not give rise to any problems in the stage of releasing or separating the protector in the seat's back whereon it is found applied.
- Heretofore are thus known several systems or methods which are making up the present prior art as discerned.
- One of the methods known consists in the provision on the fitting sheet of an adapting tape interlocked with a tape already existing at the own seat's back. The tape obtained in the detachable sheet or protector is preferably made up with a filamentous linear portion while the tape interlocked existing at the seat's back is compounded with an adhesive surface of a known type, marketed with the brand name "Velcro".
- This system has the disadvantage of a high manufacturing cost with a tendency to put up the price of a product such as the disposable types, one of which primary conditions should always be precisely a low-cost. Another disadvantage is derived from the fact that the seats to be protected shall particularly and necessarily be treated to provide them with an adhesive tape without which the protector fitting will come out as fully useless.
- Another known method is set up from a double-side adhesive tape fitted on the protecting sheet, said tape eventually being kept protected using silicone,paraffin-paper or the like.
- Although in this case, the disadvantages of the previous method are practically overcome, i.e. low-cost and suppression of the tape interlocked with the seat's back, a new problem arises as a consequence of the presence of the silicone-paper tapes, which make up a waste to be disposed of and removed at the time of placing the protectors on the seat's back,to be worked by the operator in charge of said placing, all that reducing clearly the process's headway activity.
- Lastly, another most conventional and spread method also found included in the present prior art is the one embodied from the use of a fabric protector provided with an adhesive material area or region interlocked with a similar area existing at the seat's back, these areas of adhesive fabric being evidently treated with the one brand-named "Velcro". Admittedly, any protectors of this kind exhibit a much more restrictive and selective application field that the previously cited, due to their high manufacturing and maintenance cost, and requirements of washing, repairs, etc.
- The new arrangement object of the present invention, remarkably excels whichever of the previously cited embodiments, both as related to the low manufacturing cost of the product and in the easiness and headway activity achieved in its application and becoming a universal use at whatever field of transport and/or services whereto is required the presence of a hygienic protector for the user and concurrently a protector for the seat's back or any other parts of the seat, with the intention of having the seat preserved from dirt and wear.
- Generally speaking, the object of the invention consists in a detachable and disposable protector of the type compounded with a laminate structured piece, such as for instance, a paper, a nonwoven fabric or similar low-cost material, including in one of its faces, taken as the main or recto side, an antiadhesive treatment based on silicone, paraffin or other similar products while the opposed face or reverse side exhibits at least a tape compounded with a molten or cold self-adhesive matter.
- The disclosed arrangement, allows firstly to stack up a protector standing stock in such a way that the reverse side of a sheet contacts with the recto side of the contiguous sheet and so on without any adhesive risk between both interfacing surfaces, since the self-adhesive matter of the tape or tapes is kept exclusively applied on the antiadhesive surface. This organisation makes it to be very easy the stowage, storage and merchandising of the laminate protectors without resorting to the paraffin-paper tape, of forced use in the cited references compounding the present prior art; and concurrently, due to the suppression of said paraffinpaper tape, the application of the protecting sheet on the seat is facilitated and simplified , preferably at the seat's back, without requiring any prior operation whatever, any production of waste paper, etc.
- To facilitate still more the understanding of the disclosure, the present description is accompanied with a drawing sheet showing therein a case of embodiment cited only by way of example.
- In the drawings:
- Figure 1 is a frontal view of the recto side of a laminate potector provided with the arrangement object of the present invention.
- Figure 2 is a frontal view of the reverse side of said laminate protector provided with the arrangement object of the present invention.
- Figure 3 shows the protector applied to a seat's back.
- Returning to the figures, in the disclosed embodiment can be seen a protector designed for a seat's back of the type made up with a laminate structured piece, generally referred as -1- in which the main face or recto side -1a- is envisaged with an area -2- treated by an antiadhesive product, for instance silicone, paraffin or others.
- Face -1b- opposed to the one cited above or reverse side exhibits at least a tape -3- made up with a molten or cold self-adhesive matter designed to set up a direct linking bond between the laminate piece -1- and the seat's back -4-
- Surface -1a- of the hygienic protector and seat's back is useable as advertising substrate. Also the antiadhesive area-2-may include printings of any colour, names and logotypes.
- The invention, within its essentiality can practically be carried out in other ways of embodiment, differing only in detail from the one disclosed hereinbefore by way of example in the description and to which these other ways the protection being sought after herein will also be reached. Therefore, the invention can be manufactured in any shape and size, with the most suitable materials and means, since all that is included in the scope of the claims.
Claims (1)
1.- New arrangement to fit a detachable protector at the seat's back of the type made up with taking a laminate structured disposable piece, preferably paper, a non-woven fabric or similar material, essentially characterized by the fact that it exhibits at the sheet's recto side, according to the protector's used position, a surface provided with a treatment based on antiadhesive products and in the reverse side of the sheet directly contacting with the seat's back, also according to said protector's used position, at least with a surface treated with self-adhesive matter being kept included inside the boundaries defined by the antiadhesive surface's projection existing at the protector's opposed face.
