Abstract

A partition wall, in particular for bathrooms and/or shower rooms, comprises at least one sliding door (4) which is suspended, in particular, in an upper guiding device (2) and is displaceable and, furthermore, is guided in a lower guiding device (3) in order to expose or shut off an entry opening. The sliding door (4) is detachably engaged via at least one guide arm (6) with the lower guiding device (3) which is arranged in the region of an upper edge (22), in particular a rim (24), of a tub (7). This partition wall is to be developed to the extent that, with functionally reliable guiding of the sliding door (4), the requirements relating to hygiene in the region of the lower guide rail are met. It is proposed to arrange the lower guiding device (3) directly above the upper edge (22) in front of the sliding door (4) seen from the outside. In this case, the at least one guide arm (6) of the sliding door (4) engages in a guide region, in particular a guide gap (36), of the lower guiding device (3), said guide region being situated in front of a front vertical plane (48) of the sliding door (4). <IMAGE>
