Abstract

The burner has a combustion chamber (3), which is arranged in a burner pipe (1), namely the heat-transferring wall of a recuperator. A fuel lance (6) protrudes into the combustion chamber (3). This said fuel lance bears a flame retention baffle (7). The upstream-facing side of the flame retention baffle (7) supports three setbolts (15), which are inserted through the side wall of the combustion chamber (3). A supporting element (12) presses with elastic force against the upstream-facing end of the combustion chamber (3). The combustion chamber (3) is surrounded by an air duct (2), which forms a positional securing means for the setbolts (15) and at the same time a centering means for the combustion chamber (3). The combustion chamber (3) can be assembled and disassembled together with the fuel lance (6). <IMAGE>
