Um die Rasiereigenschaften des Rasiererkopfes zu verbessern, weist die Abdeckkappe einen Gleitstreifen auf. Dabei handelt es sich um ein festes, jedoch wasserlösliches Rasierhilfsmittel, welches den Reibungswiderstand zwischen der Haut und dem Rasierkopf während des Rasiervorganges verringert. Dabei ist bei den bekannten Rasierapparaten die Abdeckkappe mit einer parallel zur Schneidkante der Rasierklinge verlaufenden Ausnehmung versehen, in die der Gleitstreifen eingesetzt ist. Nachteilig ist dabei, daß der Gleitstreifen oberseitig über die Abdeckkappe übersteht und damit die Rasiergeometrie derart verändert, daß ein verschlechtertes Rasierergebnis die Folge ist. Dies ist insgesamt dadurch bedingt, daß der Gleitstreifen nur einen Teil der relativ breiten Abdeckkappe ausmacht. Dieser Gleitstreifen deckt nahezu die gesamte Oberfläche der Abdeckkappe hinter der Schneidkante der Einzelrasierklinge ab. Bei der den Gleitstreifen bildenden Folie handelt es sich um einen mit einer gekrümmten Oberfläche versehenen Streifen, welcher der Geometrie der darunterliegenden Ausnehmung in der Abdeckkappe folgt. Zum einen ergeben sich durch die um den Gleitstreifen herumstehenden Kappenränder Nachteile im Gleitverhalten, zum anderen ergibt sich jedoch eine undefinierte Rasiergeometrie. Die gekrümmte Oberfläche kommt tangential in einer nicht vorhersehbaren Breite mit der zu rasierenden Haut in Berührung, so daß die Rasiergeometrie nicht vorherbestimmt ist. Der Grund hierfür ist darin zu sehen, daß eine vergrößerte Gleitstreifenfläche bei unveränderter Krafteinleitung in den Rasierapparat zu einer weniger starken Deformation der Haut führt und die verringerte spezifische Flächenpressung, nämlich der Druck aktiviert die Gleitschicht besser und dauerhaft. Der überraschende Erfolg der Verbreiterung des Gleitstreifens ist somit das Ergebnis eines verbesserten Gleitverhaltens. Dabei ist beachtenswert, daß beim Rasiervorgang die klassischen Gesetze der Mechanik nicht zur Anwendung kommen. Während bei diesen der Reibungskoeffizient und somit die Reibungskraft unabhängig von der Größe der Auflagefläche ist und dies unter der Voraussetzung gilt, daß die Reibungspartner nicht elastisch sind, hat sich bei der Naßrasur als überraschender Effekt herausgestellt, daß der Reibungskoeffizient von der Größe der Auflagefläche der Reibungspartner abhängt. Die in Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte erste Ausführungsform einer Rasierklingeneinheit 1 besteht aus einem Kunststoffgehäuse 2, in dem auf einem Klingentisch 3 aufliegend eine Rasierklinge 4 in Form einer Einfachrasierklinge unlösbar eingebettet ist. Dabei ist die Rasierklinge 4 sandwichartige zwischen dem Klingentisch 3 des Kunststoffgehäuses 2 und dem oberen Gehäuse 5 für eine Abdeckkappe 6 festgelegt, wobei das Gehäuse 5 aus Kunststoff mit dem Kunststoffgehäuse 2 vernietet ist. Das Gehäuse 5 für die Abdeckkappe 6 ist oberseitig mit einer Ausnehmung 8 versehen. In dieser ist ein keilförmiger Gleitstreifen 9 aufgenommen und durch Festkleben fixiert. Die Keilspitze 10 des Gleitstreifens 9 ist dabei in Rasierrichtung ausgerichtet und verläuft parallel zur Schneidkante der Rasierklinge 4. Die Oberfläche 11 des Gleitstreifens 9 ist eben.The
Wie in der Zeichnung erkennbar ist, bedeckt der Gleitstreifen 9 nahezu die gesamte Fläche hinter der Rasierklinge 4 und bildet somit die Abdeckkappe 6, welche zusammen mit der vorderen Führungsleiste 7 und der Rasierklinge 4 die Schneidgeometrie der Rasierklingeneinheit 1 definiert. Claims (3)
- A razor head arranged at the front end of a handle of a wet razor, in particular a razor blade unit, and that includes a plastic housing (2) which is provided with a forward guardbar (7) as well as a rear cover cap (6), with a single razor blade (4) embedded in the plastic housing (2), wherein a glide strip is disposed on the cover cap (6) as a separate part to the housing (5) such that the whole surface of the cover cap (6) behind the cutting edges of the razor blade (4) is covered,
characterised in that,
the glide strip (9) comprises a flat surface (11) and a wedge shaped cross section, such that the glide strip is orientated with its wedge point (10) towards the front, in the direction of the shave, in an upper recess (8) in the cover cap (6) of the housing (5). - A razor head according to claim 1, characterised in that the width of the glide strip, as seen perpendicular to the cutting edges, is approximately 6 mm.
- A razor head according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that, the lubricating means for the glide strip (9) is a xerogel, which, when it receives water as the dispersion medium, is converted into a lyogel that glides very easily on the skin of the user with a coefficient of friction < 0.25.
