Abstract

A method of and a device for controlling an induction motor for a compressor coupled to the motor through a revolving shaft and having a compressing element driven by said revolving shaft contained in one hermetically sealed vessel, in which AC current in a pattern determined corresponding to the rotational angle of the compressing element is supplied in sequence to the motor starting at a specific phase position of said AC current every time the rotational angle of the compressing element reaches a specified degree.
