Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gehäuse gemäß den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes des Patentanspruches 1.The invention relates to a housing according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Pocket watches usually have a housing which is made of metal and is provided with a hanging bracket. A chain or a band can be attached to it, the other end of which is attached to a garment, for example with a carabiner. The chain or band thus serves as a safeguard against the loss of the watch. Such a pocket watch can be found, for example, in CH-A-27 546, the first shell of which forms the watch case and the second shell of which forms the cover, which takes up a measuring tape which can be withdrawn from a coil under spring tension. A fastener for attachment to clothing is provided on the first shell receiving the watch. A rotation of the clock in relation to the fastening element is therefore not possible.

Another housing is shown in GB-A-17303/1903 which serves as a holder of a monocle or the like. This is attached to the end of the cord, which can be fixed in various extended lengths by means of a locking device for the spring coil. A hook or needle is rotatably arranged on the bearing shell of the spool, by means of which it can be attached to the clothing.

Furthermore, a watch with two fastening elements is known in WO-A-88/02138, each of which is arranged opposite the watch case on a disc which can be rotated on the watch case. This means that a basic position of the watch can be set regardless of the type of attachment to the body (as an arm watch, as a pocket watch attached to a strap or chain, etc.).

Housings are also proposed for attachment to clothing (CH-A-637 278, AT-B-384 937), which are used to hold tickets, in particular ski passes, which are inserted into a receiving slot must be inserted into a control station. The first fastening element consists of a closable bracket which can be attached, for example, to the zipper of the ski suit. Since the housing is a plastic injection-molded part, the lockable bracket is integrally formed on one side of the housing, and there is a difficult or unfavorable fastening wherever another fastening element would be advantageous.

The invention has now set itself the task of increasing and facilitating the use and mounting options of a housing of the type mentioned.

According to the invention this object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

Due to the arrangement of the first fastening element on the shell supporting the spool and the second fastening element at the free end of the cord, the first fastening element is a non-rotatable abutment when the cord is pulled out, and the possibility remains to be rotated to any position . Such training extends the possible uses of the housing significantly. For use as a pocket watch or as a watch to be worn outside, for example, the second fastening element can be fixed on the garment. The watch can then be taken out of the pocket or gripped by hand, the cord automatically adapting to the required length. The watch is not an obstacle due to the spring loading of the cord, even when doing sports. If the housing is fastened by means of the first fastening element, a key, a card, or any other objects can be attached to the cord without having to be detached from the cord in use. If various adapted, first fastening elements are used optionally, for example a lockable bracket, an eyelet, a clip, the possible uses increase again. Through the different possibilities of Attachment, the position of the watch is different and for a convenient reading of the time, the shell carrying the watch can be rotated into the most favorable reading position relative to the second shell carrying both fastening elements.

In order to easily join and separate the two housing halves, it is advantageous if rings are formed on the inner sides of the two shells, which engage in the form of a corresponding bead-groove connection.

In a first embodiment, the first, releasably held fastening element is formed by a ring, and the peripheral wall of the second shell has a cylindrical region onto which the ring is interchangeably pushed. In this case it is advantageous if the ring is provided with a U-shaped hook, the first leg of which is firmly connected to the ring and the second leg of which has a catch at the end which can be connected to a corresponding latching element in the ring. On the other hand or in addition, the ring can also have two diametrically opposite slots which each extend from the circumferential side to one of the two outer sides of the ring. This allows a band, in particular a bracelet, to be inserted through the slots. In a second embodiment, the peripheral wall of the second shell has a recess provided with engaging projections and the first, releasably held fastening element has a base part which is inserted into the recess and engages behind the projections on at least two sides. Due to the rear-engaging arrangement, the first releasable fastening element can easily be subjected to tension when the spring-loaded cord is pulled out.

The first fastening element can also be inserted or removed in the direction of the tensile stress if the base part has an elastic catch on at least one side, which detachably engages behind the projection. Each elastic catch 'is then from its, behind the projection Position bent back so that the fastener can be removed. In a further embodiment, a projection of the recess opposite the projection is designed as a rounded rib, which forms a pivot bearing for a web of the base part engaging behind the rib over a first angular range. After releasing the catch, the unlocked, first fastening element in this embodiment must be swiveled up by an angle of 15 ° to 20 ° before its base part can be removed from the swivel bearing.

A further possibility for exchangeable fixing of the fastening element can consist in that the base part can be inserted into the recess of the second shell parallel to the coil axis when the shells are open.

To insert or change the fastening element, the fastening element is pulled out or pushed in perpendicular to the pulling direction with the first shell removed. In this embodiment it is also possible for the base part to engage behind the recess on three sides on the first shell and preferably also on the fourth side on the second shell.

A third embodiment of the housing according to the invention provides that the second shell has two diametrically opposite slots, each of which extends from the peripheral wall to the outside of the second shell, and the first, releasably held fastening element by means of a band pulled through the slots, in particular a bracelet is formed.

In a preferred, further embodiment it is provided that the peripheral wall of the second shell has two recesses separated by a web, which merge into one another within the web, and the first, releasably held fastening element is formed by an elastically spreadable fastening ring which is in the two recesses is inserted and encloses the web.

At the end of the cord which is provided with an eyelet or the like and protrudes from the second shell, an elastically expandable fastening ring can also be provided as a second fastening element. The or each fastening ring is advantageously made in one piece from plastic, and is provided at both ends with interconnectable locking elements. Such a fastening ring could also be used in other ways, for example as a key ring or the like.

In a first embodiment of the fastening ring is preferred provided that the first end has a flattening running parallel to the ring plane, from which a locking pin protrudes perpendicularly, and that the second end has a groove corresponding to the flattened first end, in the bottom of which an opening is provided for receiving the locking pin.

In a second embodiment, the first end can have two flats running parallel to the ring plane and a nose directed away from the end can be formed on the outer circumference, the second end then having an incision running parallel to the ring plane, in which a web having an undercut is provided. When the fastening ring is closed, the flats of the first end are inserted into the incision of the second end and the nose is locked in the undercut. Such mounting rings are relatively easy to manufacture and easy and safe to close. A corrugation or corrugation formed on the circumference of the fastening ring facilitates opening and closing.

For the stability of the fastening ring, it is advantageous if the second end is made thickened. If the thickening has a central taper, a securing element can be pushed on and secured against unintentional separation of the two ends. The securing element can be formed, for example, by the eyelet provided at the projecting end of the cord.

As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 3 or 14, 15 in more detail, a housing 1 is approximately can-shaped and is composed of a first shell 3, which represents an upper part or lid, and a second shell 2, which is a lower part or base body forms, together. The housing 1 provides a holder for tickets, card-shaped ID cards or the like 45 (FIG. 15) which are attached to a second fastening element 7 and / or represent a holder for a watch 4 which is placed in an outside recess of the first shell 3. The two shells 2, 3 are connected to one another via a snap connection 18 formed by an annular groove and an annular bead, so that they are easily assembled, rotated relative to one another about the axis 15, and can also be separated again. In addition, a connecting screw 14 (FIG. 3) can be provided. The outside recess of the first shell 3 receives a clockwork 16, a dial and a watch glass 17, which is held in an undercut. The adjusting shaft of the clockwork 16 is guided through a lateral channel to the outside and screwed to the crown, the watch glass and the crown being sealed by sealing rings. For the sake of clarity, however, these details relating to the clock are no longer shown in the drawings.

Inside the second shell 2, a coil 5 is rotatably mounted about the axis 15, which is biased by a spiral spring. A cord 6 is wound on the spool 5, the first end of which is firmly connected to the spool 5, and the second end of which is guided outwards by a radial incision in the second shell 2 and is connected to a second fastening element 7. The cord 6 can now be pulled against the spring force from the housing 1 by pulling the second fastening element 7 and automatically retracts into the housing 1 when the force decreases. 1 and 2, the end of the cord 6 is attached to an eyelet 11 or the like, in which the second fastening element 7 is suspended. For the partial reception of the eyelet 11, the peripheral wall 8 of the second shell 2 is provided with a recess or recess 19.

Wie Fig. 14 und 15 zeigen, kann das zweite Befestigungselement 7 auch direkt an der Schnur 6 befestigt sein, wobei das zweite Befestigungselement 7 in die Ausnehmung 19 eingreift.14 and 15 show, the second fastening element 7 can also be fastened directly to the cord 6, the second fastening element 7 engaging in the recess 19.

If, for example, the second fastening element 7 is now connected to a garment of the wearer, the housing 1 can be pulled away as desired when reading the time and is then automatically returned again. The dial can be adjusted according to the respective viewing angle by rotating the first shell 3 relative to the second shell 2.

In the peripheral wall 8 of the second shell 2, a recess 9 is provided diametrically to the recess 19, which is divided by a web 13 of the peripheral wall 8. A first fastening element 10 is detachably inserted into this recess 9, which is formed, for example, by the fastening ring 30, which will be explained in more detail later, and is held interchangeably with other fastening elements adapted to the respective intended use. With the help of the first fastening element 10, the housing 1 can now be hung on a piece of clothing. The cord 6, which can be pulled out against spring force, can thus be used for other purposes. For example, a key, a ticket 45 or other frequently used objects can be attached to the cord 6, which are thereby easy to handle and are held captively on the outside of the body.

Strichliert angedeutet ist in Fig. 4 ein Band 21, beispielsweise ein Armband, das durch Schlitze 12 gezogen ist.2 to 4, diametrically opposite slots 12 in the second shell 2 are shown, which extend between the peripheral wall 8 and the peripheral region of the outside of the shell 2. A first fastening element, as schematically represented by arrows 20 in FIGS. 3 and 4, can be fastened to the slots 12, for example be hooked on, plugged in etc. 4, a band 21, for example a bracelet, which is drawn through slots 12.

With the help of the connecting screw 14, a first fastening element could also be provided interchangeably on the housing 1 or on the second shell 2.

Dieser Ring 25 ist mit zwei Zapfen 23 versehen, welche in Bohrungen der zweiten Schale 2 eingreifen und eine Verdrehung des Ringes 25 auf der zweiten Schale verhindern.5 and 6 show a further embodiment of a first fastening element 10, which is designed in the form of a ring 25. A cylindrical region is formed on the peripheral wall 8 of the second shell 2, over which the ring 25 can be slid, which is secured by a bead 24. The first leg of a U-shaped fastening hook 26 is formed on the ring 25. The second leg of the fastening hook 26 is elastically spread out and has a hook-shaped catch 27 at its end. A radial incision is provided in the ring 25, in which a catch element 28 corresponding to the catch 27 is arranged. The fastening hook 26 can thus be easily opened and securely closed. If the fastening element 10 is to be exchanged, the ring 25 can be pulled off and replaced by another which, for example, instead of a hook 26 carries a clip or another fastening element, a base or the like. A preferred variant of such a ring is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. This ring 25 has two slots 29 which run radially and parallel in the ring plane, so that, similar to the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 to 4, a bracelet can be threaded. A housing 1 provided with the clock 4 can thus be used as a normal wristwatch. This ring 25 is provided with two pins 23 which engage in bores in the second shell 2 and prevent rotation of the ring 25 on the second shell.

Die bevorzugt als Bohrung ausgebildete öffnung 36 ist an der Außenseite aufgeweitet, sodaß ein nicht bezeichneter Endwulst des Raststiftes 34 verrasten kann.9 to 13 show two versions of the fastening ring 30 used as the first and / or second fastening element 7, 10 in FIGS. 1 to 4, which surrounds the web 13 or is inserted into the eyelet 11. The fastening ring 30 consists in particular of plastic and is divided so that it has two ends 31, 32. 9 to 11, the first end 31 is provided with a flat 33, from which a locking pin 34 protrudes perpendicular to the ring plane. The second end 32 is thickened and provided with a groove 35, the depth of which corresponds to the thickness of the flattened first end 31. Corresponding to the locking pin 34, the second end 32 has an opening 36 in the bottom of the groove 35, into which the locking pin 34 can be inserted. The opening 36, which is preferably designed as a bore, is widened on the outside, so that an end bulge of the locking pin 34, which is not designated, can latch.

Der Befestigungsring 30 kann daher auch anderweitig verwendet werden, beispielsweise als Schlüsselring usw.12 and 13 show the second embodiment of the fastening ring 30. The ends 31 and 32 of this fastening ring 30 are spread apart elastically and likewise have latching elements which can be connected to one another. At the first end 31, flats 33 are provided on both sides parallel to the ring plane. Furthermore, there is a recess on the outer circumference, through which a nose 37 directed away from the first end 31 is formed. The second end 32 has a thickened region 41, in which an incision 38 running in the ring plane is provided for receiving the first end 31, which is provided with an undercut 39 (FIG. 13). By compressing the ring 4, the flats 33 of the first end 31 can be inserted into the incision 38 and latched with its nose 37 in the undercut 39. The thickened area 41 has a central taper 42 over which a securing element can be pushed. When using the fastening ring 30 as the second fastening element 7, the securing element can pass through the eyelet 11 be formed so that unintentional opening is prevented by compressing the fastening ring 30. The fastening ring 30 is easy to manufacture and has no moving parts and joints. A corrugation 40 on the outer circumference facilitates handling when opening and closing. The fastening ring 30 can therefore also be used for other purposes, for example as a key ring etc.

In the embodiment of the housing 1 according to FIGS. 14 to 18, a clasp is provided as the second fastening element 7, which, as mentioned, is fixed directly to the cord 6. As shown in FIG. 15, the clasp has a snap fastener which, for example, penetrates a ticket 45. When the cord 6 is wound up, the second fastening element 7 lies positively in the recess 19 of the peripheral wall 8 of the second shell 2 in order to stabilize the position.

The connection to a piece of clothing or another object takes place again via the first fastening element 10 provided diametrically to the second fastening element 7, which in this embodiment consists of a base part 47 and a connecting part 52. The base part 47 is inserted into the recess 9 in the peripheral wall 8 and engages on one side with an elastic catch 50 a projection 48 of the peripheral wall 8 and on the opposite side with a web 51 a projection 49 of the peripheral wall 8 formed as a rounded rib The catch 50 can be withdrawn in the direction of the base part 47 from the area behind the recess 9 so that the base part 47 is unlocked at this point. The rounded rib of the projection 49 on the opposite side of the projection 48 forms a pivot bearing, so that the base part 47 can be pivoted upwards after unlocking the catch 50 until the web 51 can be pulled out from under the rib. This fastening element 10 is therefore also simple interchangeable, with several fasteners with different types of connecting parts to choose from. Three preferred configurations are shown in the figures. 14 to 16 show a fastening element 10, the connecting part of which, like FIG. 6, is formed by a hook 52 which is integrally formed on the base part 47 and can be locked on the other side on the base part 47. Such a hook can be used, for example, to fix it to the eye of a slide fastener. 17 shows an embodiment in which the connecting part is designed as an eyelet 53. Such an embodiment is used for threading on a cord that can be worn around the neck, for example. 18 shows an embodiment with a clip 54 as a connecting part, the clamping leg of which extends parallel to the outside of the second shell 2 of the housing 1. For a non-clamping fixation on an object, the outside of the clamping leg can also be provided with a self-adhesive coating in this embodiment.

Das Uhrwerk 16 ragt in dieser Ausführung in den Innenraum der Spule 5.In this embodiment, the first shell 3 of the housing 1 is provided on the inside with a central opening which, after the clock mechanism 16 has been inserted, as shown in FIG. 15, can be covered by a clipped-on closure flap 46. In this embodiment, the clockwork 16 projects into the interior of the coil 5.
