Weiterhin ist die Schrittgeschwindigkeit, bedingt durch die Masse des Ge­genmessers begrenzt, so daß sich diese Vorrichtung nur bei relativ langsam laufenden Erodiermaschinen einsetzen läßt. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Schneidscheibe ist dadurch gegeben, daß diese an ihrem gesamten Umfang, d.h. dem gesamten Rand der zen­trischen Ausnehmung eine Schneide aufweist, so daß insge­samt der Verschleiß, bedingt durch die große Länge der Schneide, verringert werden kann, so daß sich eine höhere Standzeit der Schneidscheibe ergibt.
