Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a combustion head for an oil burner with an oil atomizing device having an oil supply pipe and a combustion air supply device surrounding the same.
Such a combustion head is known from the European patent 0 109 585 and has a chamber surrounding the oil atomization device, which extends to a diaphragm arranged downstream of the outlet of the oil atomizer device, which is provided with an aperture opening which is coaxially associated with a mixing tube. The oil mist emerging at the outlet of the oil atomization device passes through the orifice together with the combustion air into the mixing tube and is mixed there with recirculated flame gases. The flame gases are recirculated due to an injector effect, which is generated with the help of radial passages in the mixing tube. So that the injector effect can take place, the mixing tube is surrounded by a cylindrical flame tube, the upstream end of which is sealingly connected to the end wall of the chamber which carries the diaphragm.
Based on this prior art, the invention has for its object to provide a combustion head of the type mentioned with a flue gas recirculation, which is characterized by a low nitrogen oxide emission even at low oil pressures and inaccurate atomization of the oil and with a flame pattern similar to a yellow burner has the advantageous properties of a blue burner with regard to the exhaust gases.
This object is achieved in that the combustion air supply device in the vicinity of the outlet of the oil atomization device has a plurality of radially extending air channel end pieces, each of which has radially extending air outlet slots on the end facing the flame in relation to the longitudinal axis of the combustion head.
Characterized in that several air outlet slots are arranged around the outlet of the oil atomization device, an injector effect is achieved at each air duct end piece, so that the distributed and multiple recirculations ensure optimal recirculation of flame gases, flue gases or hot gases from the combustion chamber to the flame root so that the accuracy is achieved atomization via the nozzle of the oil atomization device no longer plays a major role. The required good atomization is replaced by the constant air supply through the air outlet slots, without having to make great demands on the accuracy of the oil mist. For this reason, it is possible to reduce the oil pressure to, for example, 4 bar, without causing critical atomizations through the pressure atomizing nozzle of the oil atomizing device, i.e. the hydrocarbon particles would become too large.
In an expedient embodiment of the invention, the air duct end pieces are designed as simple cylindrical air pipe end pieces. The one The ends of the air pipe end pieces adjacent to the outlet of the oil atomization device are each connected to an air duct pipe, preferably running parallel to the oil feed pipe of the oil atomization device, through which the combustion air is guided to the air outlet slots.
The air pipe end pieces are preferably arranged along a conical surface, the tip of which lies near (about 10-50 mm behind the nozzle in the direction of flow of the oil) the outlet of the oil atomization device and whose cone angle can be adapted to the spray angle of the pressure atomizer nozzle of the oil atomization device.
It has also been shown to be advantageous that the tip of the conical surface can be up to 50 mm behind the outlet of the oil atomization device.
The air outlet slots are each arranged on the flame-facing part of the jacket of the air pipe end piece. It is possible for the air outlet slots to be arranged exactly on the surface line facing the flame or laterally offset from it. In the first case the air exits essentially parallel to the oil feed pipe and to the axis of the oil mist and in the second case spirally to the axis of the oil mist cone.
The arrangement of the air duct pipes can be such that they run in the vicinity of the oil supply pipe and are bent radially outwards in the vicinity of the outlet of the oil atomization device and thereby pass into the air pipe end pieces. With an old one native arrangement is provided that the air duct pipes are arranged in a larger pitch circle and merge into these at the outer end of the air duct end pieces.
So that good recirculation can take place due to the injector effect of the air duct end pieces, there is a recirculation space behind them which extends to the burner neck. The distance between the burner neck and the air duct end pieces is a multiple of the diameter of the air duct end pieces.
In an expedient embodiment of the invention, baffles are arranged along the air outlet slots, which impart an additional swirl to the emerging combustion air, whereby the mixing of the various components in the combustion head is supported.
In an expedient exemplary embodiment of the invention, the number of air outlet slots arranged in a star shape around the outlet of the oil atomization device is 6. With an increasing number of air duct tubes, the optimal number depends on the lengths and diameters of the air duct tubes. The air outlet slots have a length that can be greater than the distance between the outlet of the oil atomization device and the closest end of the air outlet slots.

In the combustion head shown in FIG. 7, the burner neck 1 can be seen, which at its end pointing to the right in FIG. 7 does not have an end plate 2 but a coni rule's
The
At the apex of the
Der in Fig. 8 dargestellte Verbrennungskopf hat jedoch bezüglich der in Fig. 7 gezeigten Schnittebene eine andere Zahl der Luftkanalendstücke 14, 14′ bis 21.FIG. 8 shows a combustion head of the type according to FIG. 7 in a top view from the front. The combustion head shown in Fig. 8, however, has a different number of air
