Als nachteilig erweist es sich dabei, daß das Anbringen und Verschließen dieser Halbschalen oder Manschetten sehr aufwendig ist und ein beträchtliches Maß an Handarbeit erfordert. Weiterhin erweist es sich als nachteilig, daß die Manschetten oder Halbschalen in exakter Weise an die Außenabmessungen des Fasses angepaßt werden müssen, so daß bei einer Vorrichtung, auf welcher unterschiedlichste Faßgrößen entleert werden sollen eine Vielzahl derartiger Blechmanschetten oder Halbschalen benötigt werden.In order to prevent the barrel from bursting due to the high emptying pressure, it is known from the prior art to place split metallic sleeves or half-shells, for example made of sheet metal, around the barrel and thereby to coat and support it.
