Abstract

A cartridge for copying apparatus and the like, which contains an image drum (4) and a toner stock container (2), in the wall of which a closeable toner charging aperture (11) is provided, has at least one removable locking element (13) which interrupts the transport path of a used toner return device (7, 8, 9) and thus prevents the emergence of toner from the cartridge and/or closes the outlet aperture of a developer stock chamber and is provided, in the region of the outlet aperture of the toner stock container with a passage aperture through which the toner passes into a storage space from which the toner can only emerge with the aid of a toner transporting device (116). <IMAGE>
