Durch eine Öffnung im Boden des trommelartigen Laufteils hindurch werden die entsprechenden Kleinsteile einer Schiene aufgegeben, von wo aus die Zuführung zu dem Ansetzwerkzeug erfolgt. Wenn sich im trommelartigen Laufteil ein fehlerhaftes Kleinteil im Bereich der Zuführöffnung zu der Schiene verhakt hat, kann das trommelartige Laufteil nach oben verschwenkt werden, um so das fehlerhafte Kleinteil entfernen zu können. Die bekannte Sortievorrichtung ist in nachteiliger Weise nur einseitig verwendbar. Claims (4)

  1. Setting device for setting small items (5), such as rivets, eyes, press studs, hooks, buttons, etc., on a backing material, having a sorting magazine (6) for storing the loose small items (5), said sorting magazine (6) having a pivotably mounted container (9) with a filling aperture (10) for the small items (5), having a setting tool (2) and having a rail (7), arranged between the sorting magazine (6) and the setting tool (2), for feeding the small items (5) which leave the sorting magazine (6) in an aligned manner, characterised in that the container (9) is open at the side and is constructed in a trough shape, and in that the sorting magazine (6) additionally has a drum-type running part (12) which is arranged alongside the trough-shaped container (9) which is open at the side, a frame (8) having a passage aperture for the small parts (5) being arranged between the container (9) and the running part (12), to which frame the container (9) and the running part (12) are pivotably linked for opening and emptying the sorting magazine (6), the container (9) and the running part (12) being usable on each of the two sides of the frame (8) selectively.
  2. Setting device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the container (9) and the running part (12) are pivotable about a common axis (A) arranged on the frame (8).
  3. Setting device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the axis (A) is arranged running horizontally in the upper region of the frame (8).
  4. Setting device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that screws (11, 11') are provided for fixing the container (9) and/or the running part (12) in the closed position of the sorting magazine (6).
