Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connecting element, in particular a coupling sleeve, for a screw connection of self-drilling injection anchors or associated parts. The connecting element has an internal thread formed on a cylindrical base surface, the injection anchor or the associated part having a corresponding external thread formed on a cylindrical base surface. The assigned part can in particular be a drill bit for an anchor part.
Injection anchors of this type, or generally anchor elements, are used in construction for a wide variety of purposes. For example in tunnel construction to ensure vaulting. The injection anchors are driven approximately radially to the vault into the surrounding rock and anchored there by flushed-in concrete. There are also a number of different other possible uses.
It is essential that such an injection anchor is composed of several anchor elements during the driving into the ground or a rock layer, which then remain in the rock or the like. The anchor elements are connected to each other by coupling sleeves. Starting from both ends, the coupling sleeves have a cylindrical internal thread, so that one end of the anchor element can be screwed into both end regions of the coupling sleeve. The internal threads run out approximately in the middle of the coupling sleeve. The coupling sleeve forms a circumferential shoulder in the end region of the internal thread, against which the end faces of the screwed-in ends of the anchor elements abut.
To connect boring bars and drill bits, it is also known the end of the boring bar and the inclusion of the Make the drill bit conical to each other, with a cone angle of 3 °.
With regard to the mentioned connecting elements with internal thread, it is also known to form the thread for a connection between a drill rod and a drill bit with an undercut at the end, so that the end faces of the drill rod end and the drill bit hit one another on flat surfaces in order to absorb the impact energy during a drilling operation transferred to.
In general, it is also known to design coupling sleeves with a tapered fine thread along the entire sleeve length in the case of reinforcement connections for transmitting predominantly static forces.
The latter reinforcement connections can be screwed on very quickly, but they are also relatively easy to loosen, but they have to be manufactured with great effort within very tight tolerances.
In the case of a purely frictional connection via the cone configuration mentioned, seizure can occur between the cone surfaces, so that the elements cannot be detached from one another, or only with difficulty. On the other hand, the transferable forces are limited. You may go crazy. Unintentional loosening is also not excluded.
With the initially mentioned type of connection via cylindrical internal and external threads, there is a form-fitting cohesion which does not permit unintentional loosening and, moreover, enables the transfer of high forces. However, it cannot be ruled out that at the connection point, in the area of the end face of the anchor end, which Surface meets the mentioned circumferential shoulder in the socket, relative movements occur when drilling. This can result in heating at the connection point, which leads to a reduction in strength and can trigger a permanent fracture in the coupling sleeve. It is therefore desirable to have a prestressed connection between, for example, the anchor part and the coupling sleeve. On the other hand, injection anchors in particular, and they are the connecting coupling sleeves, are lost parts which, as mentioned, remain in the rock or the like. It is therefore also sought to design these elements as inexpensively as possible.
On the basis of the prior art shown, the object of the invention is to provide a connecting element, in particular a coupling sleeve, for self-drilling injection anchors, for example, which has an increased utility value while being inexpensive to produce.
This object is achieved by the invention specified in claim 1.
It is provided according to the invention that a conically tapering base surface adjoins the cylindrical base surface of the internal thread, on which surface the internal thread continues. If the element to be screwed in remains unchanged, for example the end of an injection anchor, it is thereby achieved that jamming first occurs when the screw is screwed in when the thread runout of the injection anchor reaches the transition to the conically tapering region in the internal thread of the connecting element. During the subsequent impact drilling, an end region of the screwed-in element is driven into the conical region to a certain extent, specifically by adapting to the conical region by cold deformation. Surprisingly, it has been found that despite a safe, play-free connection, however, a separation of the elements by unscrewing after a drilling process is possible, if necessary. Due to the deformation processes, there is a preload in the threaded connection, combined with a very close contact with one another in the threads. A metallic seal is created, which is particularly advantageous in the case of the injection anchors mentioned, which are known to be tubular, for the passage of, for example, rinsing liquid or concrete mass. In a further embodiment it is provided that the thread depth and the thread pitch in the cylindrical region and in the conical region are the same. The thread profiling is continued in the conical area practically in the same way as in the cylindrical area. Due to the formation of the thread profile on a conical surface, however, there is a certain profile distortion. It is also advantageous that the cone angle in the conical area is larger than the critical angle for self-locking of the material pairing at the connection point. As is known, the critical angle for steel is approximately 6 °. It is preferred to select the cone angle well above this angle for self-locking in the conical area. For the material pairing steel on steel, it is preferred to choose a cone angle of approximately 10 °. If the connecting element is designed as a coupling sleeve, this is designed symmetrically with respect to an approximately central cross section. Starting from this central cross section, a conically widening region with an internal thread connects accordingly in both directions and then a cylindrical region with an internal thread, the thread profile in the cylindrical and the conical region being the same on both sides. It is further preferred that the internal thread is a so-called cord thread, as can be seen in detail from the attached drawing, which will be discussed further below. The cord thread is like a tra pez thread with rounded flanks. Specifically, the cylindrical region is preferably formed with a length that corresponds approximately to one and a half times the outer thread diameter of the internal thread in this region. The conical region is preferably formed with a length which corresponds to approximately 1/3 of the outer thread diameter in the cylindrical region.
Hierbei zeigt:
- Fig. 1 eine Kupplungsmuffe mit einseitig eingeschraubtem Ankerteil;
- Fig. 2 eine vergrößerte Ausschnittsdarstellung des Innengewindes bei dem Gegenstand gemäß Fig. 1;

Shown and described is a coupling sleeve 1 (FIG. 1), which is connected to an end region of an
Injection anchors, in which coupling sleeves according to FIG. 1 or unit transition sleeves according to FIG. 3 are preferably used, are known for example from DE-OS 34 00 182.
The coupling sleeve 1 shown in Fig. 1 has two inner cylindrical regions a, to each of which one conical area b connects. In the cylindrical region a, a thread profile is formed on a cylindrical base surface and in the conical region b, the thread profile is formed on a conical base surface. The thread profiling is the same in both areas with regard to the geometric dimensions such as thread depth, thread pitch and cross-sectional area of a thread rib. The thread profiles differ only in that the thread profile is formed on the conical surface in the conical area b.
A cone angle alpha of the conical area b is larger than the critical angle for self-locking in the underlying material pairing. In the exemplary embodiments, the coupling sleeve, the unit transition sleeve and also the anchor parts each consist of cast steel, for which a critical angle for self-friction of approximately 6 ° is assumed. The angle alpha of the conical area is preferably significantly larger, in the exemplary embodiment approximately 10 °. With regard to an average cross section Q, the coupling sleeve 1 is symmetrical. The
The
As with the object according to FIG. 2, the
Es ist jedoch von Bedeutung, daß sie mindestens die Länge eines Gewindeganges übertrifft.1 corresponds approximately to 1 1/2 times the outer thread diameter c, this length is chosen somewhat larger for the object according to FIG. 3. It corresponds to approximately 1.8 times. The length of the area b corresponds to approximately one third to half of the length of an outer diameter of the
The thread formation described can also be formed in the case of a drill bit which is screwed onto an injection anchor as the foremost element. In this respect, the term connection element is also to be understood as an end element, for example as a drill bit, in the context of this application.
When the connecting element is screwed onto the end of an
In Fig. 1 this is indicated by the fact that the
After a fixed coupling is present, the impact energy is only achieved through the contact in the threads, through the play-free tensioned flanks. It is essential here that a metallic seal is also inevitable. The injection anchors, as can be seen, for example, from FIG. 1, are designed with an inner channel 7 for the passage of flushing liquid or a concrete mass. In the event of leaks in the area of the coupling sleeve 1 or also the
Here, the large cone angle of preferably approximately 10 ° mentioned is of importance. Thread seizure can be prevented by greasing the rod ends well. At the same time, however, the consolidation at the end region of the
The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, the drawing and the claims can be of importance both individually and in any combination for realizing the invention.
