Infolge dieses Druckes wird Luft aus dem Schreibflüssigkeitsvorratsraum durch die zumindest teilweise aus einer luftdurchlässigen Membran bestehende Zwischenwand hindurchgedrückt und perlt durch das Wasser im Druckausgleichsraum nach oben in den Bereich oberhalb des Wasserspiegels.
