Abstract

A radial fan intended to ventilate the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle comprises a rotor (18) mounted on a driven shaft (16), and provided with at least two crowns of blades (26, 28) arranged one behind the other in the axial direction of the shaft (16). In order to ensure a concordance between the zero discharge pressures of the resulting flows, the blading of one blade crown (26 or 28) differs from the blasting of the other blade crown (28 or 26) .

Description

Radiallüfter Radial fan
Stand der TechnikState of the art
B. Anordnung eines Antriebmotors im Bereich der einen Ansaugöffnung, bedingt sein können, kommt es zu unterschiedlich großen Null-FörderdruckenThe invention is based on a radial fan according to the preamble of the main claim. A radial fan is already known (DE-OS 19 57 988), in which the blades of the two blade rings are of the same design. Due to one-sided suction or running-in problems caused by unavoidable conditions such as B. Arrangement of a drive motor in the area of a suction opening, may result in different delivery pressures of different sizes
Aufgrund der dabei entstehenden Druck- und(ΔP o ) If the smaller zero delivery pressure value is exceeded, the weaker fan side is "blown over", ie this side is flowed through against the intended direction. Even small pressure fluctuations lead to unstable fan operation, the so-called pumping. Due to the resulting pressure and
Volumenstrompulsationen ist ein Betrieb des Gebläses in diesemVolume flow pulsation is an operation of the fan in this
Bereich nicht mehr möglich.Area no longer possible.
Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention
The radial fan according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the strength of the fan sides can be balanced so that their zero delivery pressure ΔP o are at least approximately the same. This adjustment of the two Fan sides to one another can be achieved, for example, in that on one blade ring the number of blades and / or the profile of the blades and / or the length of the blades deviate from the corresponding features of the blades of the other blade ring.
Zeichnungdrawing
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and explained in more detail in the following description. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a double-flow radial fan, FIG. 2 shows a partial section through the radial fan according to FIG. 1, along the line II-II in an enlarged view, and FIG. 3 shows a partial section according to FIG. 2, along the line III-III.
Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielsDescription of the embodiment
A radial fan shown in FIG. 1 has a housing 10 with a receiving tube 12 for an electric drive motor 14, the end of its armature shaft 16 protruding from the motor projects into the housing 10 and carries a drum-like fan wheel 18. The fan wheel 18 has a hub 20 held on the armature shaft 16, which extends in a bell shape over the one end shield 22 of the electric motor 14 and then merges into a partition wall 24 which runs radially to the armature shaft 16. A plurality of fan blades 26 and 28 are attached to both sides of the partition wall, each of which forms a blade ring 30 and 32, respectively. The result is a so-called double-flow radial fan, which includes the housing 10 in addition to the fan wheel 18 described and the electric drive motor 14. Finally, FIG. 1 also shows that an outer or end ring 34 or 36 is arranged to stabilize the fan wheel 18 or the blades 30 or 32 arranged on the partition. With its associated blade ring 30 or 32, each end ring surrounds the end region which faces away from the partition wall 24. FIG. 1 further shows that the housing 10 — with respect to the axis of rotation of the armature shaft 16 of the electric motor 14 — has two suction openings 40 and 44 located opposite one another. It can be seen that the electric motor 14 is located in the suction opening 44 together with its receiving tube 12. Such an arrangement can, for example, be made a requirement by a customer because another solution, for example for reasons of space, cannot be implemented. However, the arrangement of the electric motor 14 in the intake opening 44 leads to break-in disturbances in this area. This naturally leads to different zero delivery pressures, so that when the smaller zero delivery pressure value is exceeded, the weaker fan side, ie in the exemplary embodiment that with the blade ring 32, is “blown over” in the inlet opening 44. The radial fan according to the invention takes this fact into account in that the blading of the one blade ring 30 deviates from the blading of the other blade ring 32. This can be done, for example, in that the number of blades 26 of one blade ring 30 deviates from the number of blades 28 of the other blade ring 32. Furthermore, also in connection with this measure, the profile of the blades 26 of the one blade ring 30 can deviate from the profile of the blades 28 of the other blade ring 32. This measure can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3. Finally, it is also conceivable that the length 48 of the blades 26 of the one blade ring 30 deviates from the length 50 of the blades 28 of the other blade ring 32 when viewed in the direction of the axis of rotation of the fan wheel 18.
Auf diese Weise läßt sich die Stärke der Lüfterseiten so aufeinander abstimmen, daß die Null-FörderdruckeIt is obvious that the individual measures can be combined in any way. In this way, the strength of the fan sides can be coordinated so that the zero delivery pressures
ΔP o of the two floods are at least approximately the same.
