Abstract

A method of cleaning well shafts is described in which a washing liquid, consisting of the ground water with suitable admixtures, is forced out of the well filter pipe into gravel layers adjoining the filter-pipe wall and is drawn back again. Here, deposits, which reduce the capacity and are to be removed, can be dissolved with and in the admixtures so that they are dissolved by the washing liquid and are absorbed in the latter in the dissolved state. During the cleaning operation, the ion concentration of various ions, dissolved from the deposits, in the washing liquid is measured and the further cleaning operation is controlled as a function of the result of these measurements. In addition, summation-parameter command variables of the various dissolved deposits and of the washing liquid can also be measured, the further cleaning operation also being controlled as a function of these measurements.

Description

The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 1.

Up to now, the cleaning of well shafts has mostly been carried out by first performing a visual inspection of the shaft and then determining, for example, the composition of the washing liquid and the duration of the cleaning process. A device for performing this method is known for example from DE-PS 34 45 316.

This method is naturally very imprecise, since the visual examination only provides insufficient information about the extent and type of contamination. Therefore, there is either the case that the cleaning is insufficient or the case that too much detergent is added.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a process control for cleaning well shafts, which brings about good cleaning results and works inexpensively.

This object is achieved in that the ion concentration of various ions dissolved from the deposits in the washing liquid is measured during the cleaning process, that the duration of the cleaning process is controlled depending on the result of these measurements, and that the concentration of the ions released from the deposits in the washing liquid depending on the result of these measurements is suitably reduced for the further cleaning process.

The ions to be measured are, for example, the cations iron, manganese, calcium and / or aluminum, as well as the anions, e.g. Sulfate and / or chloride, and also the cations and anions of the washing liquid additives.

In addition, sum parameter parameters of the washing liquid containing the various dissolved deposits can also be measured and the further cleaning process can also be influenced as a function of these measurements. The master parameters are essentially the pH value, the conductivity and / or the redox voltage of the washing liquid. The measurement can be carried out continuously or discontinuously. By determining the respective ion concentration and in particular its change over time, it can be determined which composition the Deposits and which detergent composition is the cheapest. If, for example, the concentration of one type of ion increases only very slowly, although the absorption capacity of the washing liquid for these ions is far from exhausted, this means that these ion-forming deposits are only present to a negligible extent. If, on the other hand, there is no longer an increase in the concentration of an ion type because the absorption capacity of the washing liquid has been exhausted for this purpose, then suitable measures must be taken to ensure a further absorption of these ions in the washing liquid chain.

Accordingly, it is advantageous to reduce the concentration of ions of dissolved deposits in the washing liquid.

If there is no longer any appreciable increase in the measured ion concentration, although the washing liquid is still capable of absorbing corresponding ions, the deposits are essentially removed and the cleaning process can be ended.

To carry out the measurement, the washing liquid is expediently led out of the shaft upwards and then returned to the shaft. This also facilitates the removal of used and fresh washing liquid, since these measures can then also be carried out outside the shaft. The fresh washing liquid can ver by reducing the ion concentration of the dissolved deposits in the removed needed washing liquid can be obtained. The composition of the fresh washing liquid supplied is preferably determined by the result of the measurement, so that the absorption capacity is increased specifically for ions which are still present to a considerable extent in the deposits.

The deposits to be removed must not only be those that gradually accumulate during well operation, but can also be so-called drilling fluid additives that were used in the manufacture of the well and then have to be removed, since they impair the performance of the well.

The detergent liquid can also contain additives suitable for disinfection. In this case, the measurements carried out then also serve to control the disinfection and, if appropriate, by means of additional measurements to detect biological activities.

By measuring the amount of washing liquid used and the ion concentrations contained in it, the total amount of the deposited deposits, divided into the individual types of ions measured, can also be determined. This enables conclusions to be drawn about the condition of the respective well, for example at what intervals cleaning is carried out or whether the well should be replaced.

The invention is explained below with reference to an example shown in the figure.
