Abstract
Un dispositif autonome de refroidissement rapide peut être stocké pendant des durées indéterminées sans perdre sa capacité de refroidissement. On facilite le processus de refroidissement en revêtissant la surface interne de la première chambre d'un matériau à effet de mèche (16), afin de maintenir un contact aussi large que possible entre le liquide et la première chambre (12) à mesure que le niveau de liquide baisse pendant le processus d'évaporation. Un séparateur de phases (34) et une mèche poreuse volumineuse empêchent du liquide non-évaporé de pénétrer dans la deuxième chambre (20).An autonomous rapid cooling device can be stored for indefinite periods without losing its cooling capacity. A phase separator (34) and a large porous wick prevent non-evaporated liquid from entering the second chamber (20).
