Description
The present invention relates to omnidirectional electro-acoustic speakers.
Omnidirectional electro-acoustic speakers are known, such as those described in the Certificate of
L'invention a pour but de pallier à l'inconvénient précédemment exposé.The object of the invention is to overcome the drawback previously explained.
The subject of the invention is an omnidirectional electro-acoustic enclosure comprising two bass / mid and treble transducers arranged coaxially with their membranes facing each other held on boxes, said enclosure is characterized in that the transducers are held one on the end of the extensions of its box and the other at the end of the box in the form of a trunk of regular pyramid or cone of revolution generating reflective surfaces making it possible to diffuse each part of the sounds emitted by the opposite transducer horizontally , the other part of the said sounds being dispersed horizontally by means of a deflec single sensor of convex shape of revolution arranged in alignment and between the transducers.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an enclosure having reflecting surfaces in a regular pyramid trunk,
- FIG. 2, a variant of an enclosure having reflective surfaces in a regular truncated cone,
- - Figure 3, a front view of the speakers shown in Figures 1 and 2.
As shown in Figures 1 and 3, an enclosure according to the invention comprises an upper box 1 of parallelepiped shape whose faces at its lower part are extended by a
Opposite the casing 1 is disposed a
According to the variant shown in Figure 2 and so as to perfect the omnidirectional dispersion of sounds not broadcast by the
It goes without saying that the base of the opposite caissons can have different regular shapes passing from the equilateral, square, polygonal triangular shape to the circular shape, the extensions corresponding to said bases being regular pyramid trunks or trunks of cone of revolution.
Without departing from the scope of the invention, the opposite boxes can advantageously have different bases, in particular a square base for the upper box and a circular base for the lower box.
