Abstract

The invention relates to a device made up of integrated parts of a monitor and its power supply unit. The line alternating current reaches the input (37) of the machine supply and arrives at a device (36) where it is rectified and filtered. From there it reaches a voltage pre-regulator circuit (35), from which it leaves to arrive at a voltage transformer (30) capable of supplying power to the monitor on two lines (31 and 32), as well as on more lines ( 38, 39, 40 and 41), supplying the electronic part of said video game.

Description

Monitor for video games with built-in power supply. The invention refers to a device consisting of a monitor with built- in feeding unit foreseen for being directly used in video games. In this sector, both the monitor and the relevant feeding unity are sup plied by other firms to the video game manufacturer who has to carry out the adjustments and mount them.
The invention allows to semplify mounting with operating and economic advantages since it carries out a device which results from the integration of the two above mentioned devices: the monitor and its relevant feeding unit.
A version of the above integration is illustrated, in and indicative way of the proceeding, in the drawing of the block system of fig. 1.
The video signal arrives on the three inlet lines 1, 2 and 3 of the three primary colours of the unit 4, consisting of three video pre-am lifiers which perform an amplification of the video signal to adjust by means of the contrast check. The outlet signals frcm the above block reach the subsequent block 5, which is also consisting of three identical video amplifiers so as they perform an additional amplification of the video signal up to the level useful for the kinescope 6 control. In the three amplifier unit 5, also the chromatic temperatures of the white colour are regulated. On lines 7 and 8, the synchronism signals to block 9 are connected consisting of two amplifiers, of which one for the horizontal and the other for the vertical synchronism, and of two polarity inverters enabling to choose the polarity of the inlet synchronism signals to lines 7 and 8. The synchronism signal from block 9 reaches block 11 through line 10, consisting of an oscillator synchronized by the horizontal synchronism signal, with the task of supplying a signal with two functions: the piloting signal to block 13, through line 12, and the vertical synchronism to block 15 by means of line 14. Block 13 consists of a circuit which carries out the horizontal deflection of the kinescope 6 electron bundle and generates four tensions 16, 17, 18 and 19 which feed kinescope 6, and furthermore feeds block 5 through line 33. Block 15 generates the vertical deflection of the kinescope electrone bundie and the extinction signal during the square interval which arrives to block 21 through line 20. Block 13 generates an extinction signal during the horizontal return phase of the electrone bundle, which arrives to block 21through line 22. Block 21 consists of a circuit which supplies a zero setting signal of the brilliancy which reaches the kinescope 6 through line 23, in coincidence with the signals ccming from lines 20 and 22. Furthermore, on line 24, the block 15 supplies a signal in proportion with the vertical deflection and which is used by a shape modeller 25 of a correcting signal as wide as the horizontal deflection arriving to block 13 through the line 26 and which corrects the geometrical distortions of kinescope 6. Block 27 consists of a set of adjustuments for the correct working and best geometries of the monitor; the said block is connected to blocks 15 and 13 through the lines 28 and 29. These lines can be prolonged so as to bring the block 27 out from the monitor. The line A.C. arrives at point 37 which the feeding inlet of the unit and reaches the device 36 where it is rectified and filtered. From here, it arrives to device 35 which is a tension pre-regulating circuit and, when octning out, it reaches device 30, a tension converter for feed ing the monitor on lines 31 and 32, as well on lines 38, 39, 40 and 41 to feed the electronic part of the video game. When carrying out the invention device, the parts may be fitted in different ways and, if required, integrated or replaced with other equivalent ones.

Claims

Claim.
1) Monitor for video games with built-in unit, characterized by the fact that a device is foreseen for video games consisting of integrated parts of a monitor and of its feeding unit. In .the relevant block scheme, the line A.C. arrives at the feeding inlet of the unit and reaches a device (36) where it is rectified and filtered. From here the line feeding arrives at a tension pre-regulating circuit (35) and, when getting out, it reaches a tension converter (30) apt to feed the monitor on two lines (31 and 32) as well as, on other lines (38,39, 40 and 41), to feed the electronic part of the video game.
