Description

The invention relates to a scarf or the like. Garment made of fur or textile material according to the preamble of the claim.

A scarf or similar item of clothing made of fur or textile material is known from US-A-4,488,315. The two ends of this known scarf are designed in the manner of an animal or the like head with an openable mouth. The lower and upper jaws of the animal or the like are accessible from the outside via a lower opening assigned to the head with the hand of the user, so that the lower and upper jaw are relative by means of the inserted hand or finger in the manner of a hand puppet Are movable towards each other. A disadvantage of this known scarf is that the respective head of the hand puppet is sewn onto the actual scarf. The respective head is therefore not an integral, but rather a separate part of the actual scarf. The disadvantage of this known scarf, on the other hand, is that no arrangements are made for a connection between the two ends of the scarf. This known scarf must therefore be used around the neck of a person, for. B. a child, as before.

Starting from the prior art, the invention is based on the object of providing a scarf or similar item of clothing of the type mentioned at the outset, which, as an integral part, offers real thermal protection, for playing for children, ie. H. as a play scarf or the like, suitable and easy to handle.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of the patent claim.

Accordingly, special precautions are provided for connecting its one (head) end to its other (tail) end in the scarf or the like. Garment made of fur or textile material according to the invention. Both ends are an integral part of the actual scarf or the like item of clothing. In addition, the special measures for connecting the two ends are extremely easy to handle for a child for whom the scarf or the like item of clothing according to the invention is primarily intended.

At the same time, the upper and lower jaws of the animal or the like head of the scarf or the like item of clothing according to the invention are accessible from the outside with the hand of the user in such a way that the lower and upper jaw by means of the inserted hand or fingers while biting or Speech movements are movable relative to each other. One (head) end of the scarf or the like item of clothing according to the invention is thus designed as a toy or doll, with the result that children are more inclined to accept the scarf, which is usually perceived as annoying, as heat protection.

The scarf or the like item of clothing according to the invention is characterized in that functional aspects are harmoniously combined with playful aspects.

An embodiment of a game scarf designed according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the attached drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1

The play scarf 10 shown in FIG. 1 has an animal head 11 at one end and a tail 12 at its other end, which is offset from the central body section by a waist 13. Tail and head are integral parts of the tubular scarf 10 according to FIG. 3. In the embodiment shown, the scarf 10 is made of textile material, namely high-pile material. This is sewn together to form a tube (see longitudinal seam 14 in FIG. 3) in such a way that the shaggy side is on the outside.

Through a lower opening 16 just behind the ears 15 of the head 11, the upper and lower jaws 17 and 18 are accessible from the outside with the user's hand in such a way that the lower and upper jaw can be moved relative to one another by means of the inserted hand or finger are performing biting or speaking movements. The insertion of the hand through the aforementioned opening 16 is indicated in FIG. 2 by the arrows 19, the thumb being preferably inserted into the lower jaw and the remaining fingers of the user's hand being inserted into the upper jaw. At the front free ends of Upper and lower jaws 18 and 17 are mutually corresponding parts of a Velcro fastener 20 or snap fastener or the like, so that the head opposite end of the scarf 10 is securely held in the region of the waist 13 when the mouth is closed between the upper and lower jaws.

Preferably, two or more waists 13 spaced apart from one another are provided, so that the scarf can be closed with different diameters.

The scarf described can be used both as a game figure and as thermal protection. This double function of the item of clothing according to the invention makes it particularly acceptable for children. The opening 16 is preferably sewn relatively tear-resistant.

In Fig. 1 ist eine dem Oberkiefer 18 zugeordnete Zahnreihe mit der Bezugsziffer 23 angedeutet.1 and 2, the sewn-on eyes and the attached snout of the animal head 11 are identified by the reference numbers 21 and 22. The lower and upper jaw can also have teeth sewn on the inside. A row of teeth assigned to the upper jaw 18 is indicated in FIG. 1 by the reference number 23.

All features disclosed in the documents are claimed as essential to the invention, insofar as they are new compared to the prior art, individually or in combination.
